While the media focuses on handwritten notations by the Vice President on a newspaper article, there is much more to be gleaned from late Friday’s court filings in the Libby case. The spin says that damaging new evidence has surfaced. But the filings by Fitzgerald reveal how rapidly his case is sinking.
Discovery in legal cases is rather like playing the old game “Battleship” where you can surmise from your opponent’s responses to your blind probes where he is hiding his fleet. So you can sink it. I heard exactly the opposite. I heard Rove was indicted yesterday and that the news will break Monday or soon after. Just rumors.
This new "lawyer" fad of charging someone with a trumped up, bogus charge and then "getting" them for "perjury" and "obstrustion of justice" is getting REALLY old. Our so-called judicial system is definitely out of control. This crap needs to be looked at and fixed.
What I don't get, and what I don't like, is that Fitzy wants to put into play all this information about Wilson's trip, but doesn't want to turn over any evidence to Team Libby about that trip. Who in the CIA authorized this trip? What happened before and after? What kind of documentation exists regarding this trip? If Fitzy enters these articles, even though he essentially admits that Wilson is a liar (not putting them into evidence for factual value)then I would think that Team Libby has a right to any government information regarding the trip. I'm pretty sick of this whole thing, but if it is going to go forward, it has to go forward with fairness. Fitzy doesn't want fairness, and I'm not sure the judge does either.
Rove may be indicted someday, but the source of these rumors is Jason Leopold of Truthout and you can read more about him (he's not credible) at Sweetness& Light.com This is about the Libby case and its weaknesses. Leoplod predicted 22 indictments last November and has been predicting Rove's indictment almost every week.
The DUmmies are having multiple orgasms about Rove being indicted today. It's being published as fact, and I find nothing in FR or even the MSM to confirm Rove's indictment.
I have to wonder if the DUmmies live in a parallel universe. This whole thing is a cartoon, and anyone of any sense would have dismissed it long ago.
No harm, no foul or words to that effect. Particularly since there seems to have been neither harm nor foul.
I await with bait on my breath the indictment of Karl Rove.

Here's the ticket: The press has been dying for this to explode into a big scandal. They's been deprived. And the left wants it so bad they can taste it. In both cases, they are writing this with little regard for the truth.

My leftie sister e-mailed me this morning about Rove being indicted. I LMAO when I saw where she got it from. That miserable creep William Pitt. I knew right then it wasn't the truth.
