It is at least a legitimate use of military. The founders of our nation agreed. Granting them police powers in the process, however, is another story.

I think we should send troops there till the border fence is complete, then reduce the amount (of troops) until the estimates of illegals passing through is around 10-20k a year. Then let the regular law enforcement handle the rest of those people
