"I don't have time to explain this right now,"
then don't post denials that you can't back up.
I have documentation that shows what illegals are costing. NET!

Some people are understandably skeptical considering his past inaction. Talking is not acting, we'll get excited when he actually ACTS on this issue.Bush and the GOP Senators seem intent on advocating every approach EXCEPT for the one that is guaranteed to work..
Bush has expressed over and over again that he thinks the illegal immigrants are good for the country - does anyone think that he will actually require the NG to stop the influx with any vigor?
Using the military on the border is helpful only if it is a precursor to building the wall.
To: Coop
The border bunnies aren't hard to find. Just go to any thread not related to immigration, and they'll be there railing about illegal immigration. You may treat it as a joke, but many of us are convinced that we are in serious danger of losing our country if illegal immigration is not stopped--and soon. A conservative ought to be able to comprehend that.

I too like your attitude. When I was in school I was taught there is nothing American's can't do (a version of your I can), once their collective mind is set to accomplish the task ahead. I believed and yes I still believe. Get ready world, America is on the board.

Monday Bush could announce a massive 'guest worker' program pouring concrete in Texas, NM, Arizona, and CA. He gets his guest worker program, the illegals get work, we get a wall, and the illegals get escorted back to Mexico when it's done. Everybody is happy.

Mr President, Good news! However, please do not say: "Jobs Americans will not do". Big mistake. That is one reason big reason his level of support has fallen so much.

distain? hate?..bro I dont know where you came up with that impression...I believe we cant trust him to make changes that address the illegal hordes. And I believe this inaction has a cost..Thats all..

Be careful, some old trolling mole might sue you for plagerism!:)
Jim Rob should charge a $20 posting and useage fee, everytime that "I voted for Bush twice ...I used to love him but if he does this Im never going to vote for him again!" is used.

If I thought writing a check for $7 billion dollars would prevent illegal immigration, I'd say do it now. I want a secure border. My problem is, I don't think a fence would work. I don't know of any physical barrier this length that has ever been built that achieved the goal of keeping people out. If you know one, tell me.
My point is, we don't have to spend billions on something that won't work when we could be solving the problem by NOT spending money. No social services or education for illegals and harsh penalties for employers of illegals. With no source of income or support the vast majority will stay or go home. Most of these people are not MS13 members, they are manual laborers.

I live in a very small county in Michigan (20,000 in the county) and we get more than our fair share of illegals during the warmer months. My good friend is the Spanish interpretor for the local courts and is paid $80 an hour to interpret for all the illegals when the come to court (and they do, often). For a small county government, that adds up quick, not to mention that the school (population K-12 around 600) has to provide an interpreter and remedial teacher for the kids, the doctors clinics pretty much write off their medical care, and most dont have car insurance. STOP THE INVASION.

Crime by illegal aliens is a problem, so is crime from US citizens. Would you feel better if your friend had been robbed by POS citizens? Yes, because I wouldn't have to listen to nonsense about them "having good family values" and just coming here to "do the jobs Americans won't do."

You may treat it as a joke, but many of us are convinced that we are in serious danger of losing our country if illegal immigration is not stoppedIt is not clear why so many want to ignore the Balkanization of America. It it wasn't clear a few months ago, surely the marching of millions of foreign nationals in our streets and shutting down our cities should have opened a lot of eyes.
This issue is a very big deal and at least as important as the WOT. For one, an open border undermines the WOT and more importantly, if we lose our country then who cares about terrorism.
For republicans and conservatives this is even a bigger deal as thousands of future Democratic voters are being imported everyday.
To: kellynla
Cost of illegal immigration in California estimated at nearly $9 billion And who's fault is that??
Grey Davis maybe?

Watch the SLeight of Hand move tonight by Bush... The National guard will be deployed in an undetermined logistical back up support role at a later date..."Go home Minute Men..there is no need for Vigilantism!"
But please RIGHT NOW! ...pass this bill to allow these fine people to get on a path to citizenship because..."there are jobs that Americans wont do"...
You can smell it coming.
Sorry, 'bro'............but this is disdain.
You're trying to back off of it now that I called you on it, but if you meant it when you said it, you have no respect for the President at all. None.
If that's how you honestly feel about this honorable man, just admit it. Don't try to deny what you've already said.
These words are most certainly NOT just words of 'disappointment.'

My problem is, I don't think a fence would work. I don't know of any physical barrier this length that has ever been built that achieved the goal of keeping people out. Why wouldn't it? It's a physical structure. Of course it would have sensors and technology augmenting it.

He does nothing = He selling out the nation to Mexico.
He does somthing = Dont listen to it. Its a token gesture.

Mo........where is the blame for the Governors of these states from everyone on this board? What about the Governor and legislature of the state of Arizona and their complicity in supporting illegals?
Why do these people not lay any of the blame on them?
