Headline only so far...
As I recall, Arizona Governor Napolitano sent about ten National Guardsbeings down to help too. Until proven otherwise, I envision about the same level of committment from GWB.
Bush announced his candidacy for president of the United States on June 12, 1999.
Just wrote my senator and congressman for the 3rd time this month alone. You're right, THEY are the ones who create legislation.
I've seen your reams of copy and pasting.
Bravo!
'Human Rights groups and local leaders also held it up,calling it "racist"'
These people get my vote for the most likely to be advising the Mexican government about the location of 'minutemen' and/or Border Patrol.
Me too - I was for Bush or Quayle (ironically ; )
They can't when they ain't at home now can they? Somebody and I won't mention a name has kept the NG's deployed for 1 year deployments plus training rotations over three years instead of building up more permanent active duty Army troop levels. I won't mention any names. Oh BTW next years troop levels active duty army? 22,000 more Army allowed and that's it. Basically the same numbers that Slick Willie used in 1996.
Exactly.
And THEY are the ones pandering to the illegals.

We have expelled over 6 million since bush took office - I realize that's not enough for you, but I am just answering your question.
Wow...if your stat is true, then clearly the argument that we can't deport 11 million people is bunk.

Wait a minute. That would be 1 million per year, and you can rest assured not all were even from Latin America. And you can also rest assured those are only the ones who committed other crimes, probably violent.
Look, there is only one key statistic in this matter. The US prison population is 3 million and It Is Full.
There is nowhere to put people whose crime is being an illegal alien unless you turn rapists or murderers loose to make room for them, and only 1/4 of them. You can't deport them without disobeying US law that requires a hearing at a court of law and only so many of those can be scheduled.
It Takes Time. Sealing the border is a good move by Bush. It is the correct first step.
It is a cycle. We expel the same illegal aliens over and over and over down near the border. That's why that number you keep quoting (and fudging) is so high. Border Patrol catches the intruder, transports back to the border, expels them back into Mexico, and the very next day the same intruder is back across the border, getting detained again, and expelled again. Ask ANY Border Patrol Agent, man. I live here. I know this. Wise up.
Most of those were voluntary departures - you really think it is going to be easy to find and remove by force 20 million? Hitler only got 13 million.
I'm just wondering if it's to get the Minutemen off the border so the illegals can be escorted into the US by US troops instead of coyotes.
Hate to be so skeptical, but that's exactly what I'm suspicious of.
We all know he is not too fond of citizen's groups or militlias doing the job, so if he gets the military to do it, then HE (and government policy) can control the whole situation. Probably something along the lines of: no violence or intimidation (look threatening, but take no action), if they make it across just let them go, render aid/food/water/asylum to immigrants who need it and a host of other UN-inspired rights and comforts aimed at benefiting the illegals.
Should the military be used to tighten the U.S.-Mexico border?
Yes 88% No 12%
INTERVENTION REQUEST FOR FOOD CONSUMPTION FOR THIS GIRL
Thankfully I think we only have one who panders to the Illegals and that's Max Bogus. Of course he's a Dummycrap so it goes without saying.
Everytime that egg sucking moron opens his pie hole he lies.
I've not personally seen that from either Burns or Rehberg yet, tho they may have and I just didn't catch it.
