Could it have been a brave diversion for some larger crime - that won't come to light until tomorrow? Who knows?
they locked down all the police stations in that county, as well as the hospital...
I am monitoring scanner users posts from Va.
I work right next to the police station......stuck in my office......I better be able to leave in time to watch 24 tonight
4 officers shot, 1 suspect outstanding, 1 suspect shot.
ping for later
San Antonio, late 90's., same M.O.
All of us are wondering about the motive. Maybe a terrorist attack like jocon suggests. Perhaps a revenge attack for someone in a gang who was shot or arrested. Or perhaps this was a "diversionary" attack to keep the police busy while something was taking place elsewhere.
Er ah, why not just count your blessings that you are safe and say a prayer for the injured people and those who continue to be in danger.
THX....... I suspect soon we'll have a better handle on the why's and who's of this thing.

"Some big heavy metal looking dude walked in and told the night clerk he was a friend of Sarah Connor".
The initial story suggests that the killers were very brave. There is definitely a huge story behind this...
It's unlike when a ex-con goes after a prosecutor or judge, silently, undetected.
Prayers go out for all involved. Someone said a female detective has died.
My wife works right up the street from the Marriot where the truck was found.
To VA posters...
Keep your wits about you and a firearm with lots of ammo nearby...
But I thought that that crap is supposed to happen in LA....
