Convicted Sept. 11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui says he lied on the witness stand about being involved in the plot and wants to withdraw his guilty plea because he now believes he can get a fair trial.

In a motion filed Friday but released today, Moussaoui said he testified March 27 he was supposed to hijack a fifth plane on Sept. 11, 2001, and fly it into the White House "even though I knew that was a complete fabrication."

"He might be kinda funny for the next fourty years. I hope somebody puts a camera on him, like Ozzy or Anna Nicole Smith."

They should have put him in a cell with Manson.

The more I think about it, the more glad I am that he got life in SuperMax--I just want to tickle his chin and say in a coochie-coo voice, "You're the big mean terrorist aren't you?? Yes--we are all soooooooo scared--now go to your room--forever..."

Sensory Deprivation is not at all fun... espically when you have such a defective psyche as he has.

What he is going to go through, after even a few months, will be more 'torture' than anything we would ever allow at even Git'mo...

No sights (except concrete furniture, and concrete walls, no colors no TV, no radio, no human contact (other than guards)... all alone with his wicked and dimented thoughts until the day he drops dead.

Rot in peace Moussaoi...

I guess Moussaoui finally realized that Bush was not going to pardon him. What a joke. He really seemed to believe it.

I think it would be fun to pull a little prank on old Mousie.

Maybe get a bunch of Freepers to write to him and tell him that we are part of a movement to get him out of prison, and that Bush has agreed to free him as part of a prisoner exchange, set for next April.

Get his hopes up, then all write to him on April 1 and tell him "April Fool!"

Sadly, there MAY be sufficient grounds for an appeal to succeed thanks to the record of proceedings indicating the loon has, arguably at least, a mental illness. In truth, he is clearly an evil, heartless, murdering coward. And remember the tactical errors of the prosecution team which almost blew out the case before the jury reached its decision.

Unfortunately, the death sentence option is out the window. Subplot pilot could get no more than what he already received, life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Dang it.

All he needs to do is write a bunch of children's books. Then he can be a hero.

If that were the case Jefferey Dahmer would be hanging out at the corner bar.

I heard a former warden at Florida State Prison where "old sparky" got quite a workout talking about it. He says other inmates are Moussaoui's biggest concern. They would consider it a coup to give a famous inmate like Moussaoui the 'Dahmer' treatment.

"get the right judge on appeal, and his conviction could be tossed out. let's not kid ourselves here folks, this guy is going to be a superstar figure for every ACLU"

No way, this bozo is going to spend the rest of his life there, it is against federal law to change a plea once it has been entered.

Bet he wishes he had not pled guilty now LOL

Dumbass got cold feet after seeing where he was going (the Colorado Super-Max prison) and how much daylight he would see (none, and he's locked down for 23 hours a day). He was a swaggering bastard when he figured he'd be doing easy time in the general population working as an islam-recruiter. Reality's a bitch, eh terrorscum?

It sure is. Just seeing the photos gives me the creeps. Seriously, someone needs to call the Whambulance for Moussaoui.
