Convicted Sept. 11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui says he lied on the witness stand about being involved in the plot and wants to withdraw his guilty plea because he now believes he can get a fair trial.

In a motion filed Friday but released today, Moussaoui said he testified March 27 he was supposed to hijack a fifth plane on Sept. 11, 2001, and fly it into the White House "even though I knew that was a complete fabrication."

Thanks to all for the info about the conditions in which this subhuman will be living. I hope it's true that he can only see his lawyer, and I hope those visits are made less and less often.

Got one look at SuperMax and changed his mind, did he?

It would appear that way. This is obviously the way to get to him :)

No. He's playing our system, plain and simple.

This was his plan from the start. BY pleading guilty and the changing his plea he is hoping to assure himself appeals

But if he withdraws his plea, don't we have another trial (yeh I know) but this time with a Jury made up of people with cojones and more than two brain cells to rub together. Perhaps a change of Venue to New York City, preferably Manhattan?

My understanding is that in federal court you can only withdraw your plea if the judge deviates from the agreed upon sentence. I've seen this happen. I don't know what was agreed upon when he pleaded.

The judge didn't set the sentence, the brain dead jury did. I think the judge might have ordered the Big Sleep.

AMX Florance is the last place you'd want to be....

"...They exist alone in soundproof cells as small as 7 feet by 12 feet, with a concrete-poured desk, bed and stool, a small shower and sink, and a 13 inch black and white TV that offers religious and anger-management programs.

"They are locked down 23 hours a day. They are not allowed to see other prisoners and have as little contact with staff as possible.

"Food is delivered through a slit in the cell door. Prisoners don't leave their cells to see a lawyer, a doctor or a prison official; those visitors must go to the cell....
taste of life ahead was offered by James Aiken, a former prison warden called as a defense witness during his trial. “We are not preparing him for a return to society. We are not even preparing him for a return to the general population. The mission here is incapacitation.

"There is no pretense that the prison is preparing the inmate for a return to society. Like the cellmate of the count of Monte Cristo who died an old, tired convict, Aiken said, "Moussaoui will deteriorate." "The inmate "is constantly monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week," he said. "He will never get lost in a crowd because he would never be in a crowd."

"Time takes a toll on all of us, something he doesn’t even know yet. I have seen them rot. They rot"

Not all the money in the world will get him out.

He's there till he dies.

Haven't heard of the Blind Sheik or his crew for many years now have we? They were crowing on the front pages for years.

They are in solitary in AMX Flourance.

Absolutely correct. All these terrorists try to use our judicial system to the fullest. That's why the rats are such fools with their punishment using the court system. I guess Moussaoui finally realized that Bush was not going to pardon him. What a joke. He really seemed to believe it.

He's mocking our system, plain and simple. >>>>>>>>>

Nah! He just made the mistake of bending over in the prison shower to pick up the soap!

He'll have to be a lady to some big bad convict who could break him in two like a matchstick!

Now he wants out.......oooooooo....poor , poor , man!

Please elaborate

Not here; I'd like to keep my membership at FR. However, if I may suggest, find a copy of Ron White's comedy album "Drunk in Public".
