Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has written to George W Bush proposing "new solutions" to their differences.
The letter will be sent via the Swiss Embassy which represents US interests in Iran, a government spokesman said.
Mr Ahmadinejad proposes "new solutions for getting out of international problems and current fragile situation of the world", the spokesman said.
Reports say it is the first letter from an Iranian president to a US leader since the Iranian revolution in 1979.

Now it probably wouldn't hurt to read the letter.............unless it's laced with anthrax.

My suggestion would be to ask the Swiss to scan this "letter" and forward an image. We don't want W. to catch in cooties.

Ahmadinejad writes to Bush outlining Iran's global vision
Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has written to US President George W Bush outlining plans to resolve "the current vulnerable situation in the world", an Iranian official has said.
"In this letter, he has given an analysis of the current world situation, of the root of existing problems and of new ways of getting out of the current vulnerable situation in the world," said Gholamhossein Elham, a government spokesman.

As my younger son would say: "Nuke 'em all, let Allah sort 'em out!"
In fact, I have a picture he drew, showing that same phrase written on the nosecone of an ICBM, coming out of its silo....

"In this letter, he has given an analysis of the current world situation, of the root of existing problems and of new ways of getting out of the current vulnerable situation in the world,"That is easy enough to figure out, it's either:
1) Israel's (Jews) fault, or
2) Bush's fault....

The destruction of the "Zionist entity" will cure all the world's problems.
And, then the Madhi will return.
That about sums up his "world vision".

Bush's Response (Sung to the tune of The Box Tops' "The Letter")
Mahmoud wrote me a letter
Said he wanted to explain
Wants all the Jews gone,
Says he has a bomb
Yeah, Mahmoud he should know better
Well he wrote me a letter
And said that the U.S. was to blame
Listen, Mr. Mahmoud
Don't you know the world thinks you're insane
Well Mahmoud wrote me a letter
Said I was causing him a lot of pain
Soon he'll be gone
And the world won't miss him long
I think I'll just return the letter
Yeah, he should know better!

Mr Ahmadinejad proposes "new solutions ... The only possible solution short of taking that loon out, is to send him a 50 gallon drum of antipsychotic meds.

We don't want W. to catch in cooties.Exactly. I've read that Ahmadinejad's hygiene isn't too good.

"The US and Iran have not had diplomatic relations since Washington severed ties with Tehran after Iranian students occupied the US embassy there and took 52 Americans hostage in 1980."
Ahhh See this whole thing started because washington wouldn't let the "students" play with our embassy personel.
We should have severed Khomeni's head back then, but now I'll settle for Ahmajandi's.

This letter should be forwarded to the UN ... I thought it was the UN's problem? I thought the UN was supposed to deal with situations like this? I thought the UN was to step up to the plate and enforce nonproliferation rules?
Oh thats right, this is an oil exporting nation and oil is more important than enforcing ones own rules ... especially if payoffs and side deals exist with the rough nation.

Nah... an anthrax laced letter from Iran to President Bush's would be "causus belli" (sp) - a reason FOR war. IMO, it's just another rope-a-dope delaying tactic on the part of the Iranians.
Would probably work with John Frances Kerry, doubtful with patient George. Just another length to the rope we will eventually hang the mullahs and their confidants with.
