I just saw kristol talking about Goss. I wanted to reach thru the screen and smack kristol's smarmy face.
Apparently you cant read. The poster was talking about the fact that the Medicare Drug program was becoming a "political" success for the Republicans and Bush among senior citizens, not the disaster that was repored early on. So you dont like the expenditure, well it sure beats wasting money on bridges to nowhere and hindsight being 20-20, the occupation of Iraq for that matter.
Tenet named the CIA Headquarters after Bush 41.
Good assessment of the ....wacky one...Jake
Maybe people who can easily afford private schooling for their own children see it as a waste of money. I see it as our blood oath obligation.
My favorite panel of the day was Steffie's, with Will, Radditz and VandenHuevel, not for anything intelligent that was said, nothing was, but for the looks on all of their faces everytime VandenHuevel started to talk. They looked alternately amused and terrified about what in the he** she was going to say next.
The polls are designed to give the results the media desires.
"Probably one of the few times anyone had behave in a fatherly fashion towards her."
I'll edit that to: Probably one of the few times anyone had BEEN GENUINE AND behave in a fatherly fashion towards her.
When I called a real live person answered immediately.
Asked a few questions and within ten minutes at the most I was signed up. They took care of the paperwork. $4.43 comes out of my social security check. It was $250 deductible and if I needed any meds I would pay 25% of the cost.
Could not have been easier and the person at Humana could not have been nicer.
Must be the same thought process that made him say he supports McCarthy for spilling national secrets to the NYT - she was doing the "country a favor". How utterly disgusting and treasonous.
Really? That's rich. "Republicans only" dominate the House and the Senate.
If they wanted an amnesty-free immigration bill, they could draft one and pass one. And since it would conform to GWB's proposal of March 2004, he'd sign it.
It's wiser to get blood pressure meds before you have a stroke or heart attack, wouldn't you say?
That goes for detecting diabetes and other ailments that affect seniors.
Do we simply tell them to go to hell or do enable a healthier lifestyle.
It's in our own best interest ultimately, and it's the right thing to do.
I have nothing but praise for this president.
And yes, spending on bridges to no where and subsidizing Sam Donaldson's sheep farm, come to mind.
Seriously... the economy, enlighten me.
If troops came home tomorrow, what would the polls do?
If a fence was built tomorrow, what would that do?
They quoted on a poll on a Sunday show that 75% of troops in Iraq want to come home now... I talk to many troops. Do you take that poll at face value? Or do you ROIA the poll questions and see who they asked and how they framed it?
Ahhh, Little Billy... the perfect masochist who aspires to sadist.
I do reviews at schools and you are correct.
Well, off to Mass. Bye all.
Sure and if we had 10% more conservatives in the polls, Bush's numbers would be back up over 60%...heck lets say back up 80%? If we had ten percent more conservatives in the sample we wouldnt have the biggest differential on the generic house ballot since the week before the 94 election? Oh yeah, ten percent more conservatives and fighting terrorism would climb from 7% to our top priority and immigration would be right up there too.
I hope some of you dont wait until mid November to figure out that the number of Americans that lean Republican has declined since 2004. Besides the ones in the squishy middle that voted for Bush, we have the crazy Buchannites, Periostas, Constitutional Nuts, and Libertarians all screaming over one betray or another and how they are NOT going to support the Republicans this fall. When do you get worried? After the election?
