Chelsea seems to have been used as a prop rather than a child?

And how many went into lobbying, etc????
great link. Bush is not about Instant Gratification, important things take time to pay off.
The kid certainly does not look like BJ, hard to say. It would appear that she is not at all close to her mother.
Newt is on MTP the next week. It should be quite a contrast to this week with Pelosi.
Looks like time for another Bill Clinton DNA test.
And that is the whole problem - take from one and give to another is great politics but a poor way to run a country. Socialism always ends up the same - a bankrupt government and a crushed economy.
This is what so many of us conservatives are rallying against. The Republican party continues to have one political success after another. Unfortunately this is ruining our country.
You need to mark this conversation. In 2011 you will feel the pain of the Medicare crisis. And the fault will be yours and others like you (and mine as well for not being able to educate enough people) who were happy with the 'political' success without understanding the impact it would have on this country.
To put it simply, in 2011 we will either need to eliminate a significant % of Medicare benefits (this will surely make the elderly happy), increase taxes through the roof, or explode the deficit way beyond the current outrageous levels. I suspect our weak-willed politicians will choose the later which will result in an incredible erosion of the value of the dollar which in turn will start the collapse of our great economy.
The MSM still has far too much sway in this country - too many people taking them at their word. The Alternate media still has to make a lot of conversions in order to really get the "Truth" out. Err Amerika likes the "Truth to Power", "Truth Seekers", and "Truth Tellers", monikers but they are NOTHING BUT LIES.
Disappointed that Chris Wallace prefaced the segment with Biden and Specter by calling them the "two wise men of foreign policy." More like Tweedledee and Tweedledum, if you ask me. I skipped it and forced myself to watch Nancy Pelosi tapdance around a moderately tough interview with Tim Russert. She was pretty funny, promising to restore civility to politics. Hmmm, I asked myself, why do you have to wait until you're in power to become civil? She wouldn't know civility if it bit her on the ass. GW tried to be civil to this lot and got smacked around for six years for his troubles. If these nincompoops get into power, they can expect their adversaries to return the favor.
You are correct all that was done was that a statement was put out.

Oh snugs, that's so sweet! And, some of my favorite things, how'd you know??? May have to have a little bubbly and chocolate later and give my teddy a hug. I have a wonderful teddy bear that I got from Santa when I was about 3 (more years ago than I care to count!)and we lived in England. Have him sitting on a little rocking chair I got over there as well. Thank you very much!
Newt will try to play it down the middle and criticize both parties. Triangulation. Tim will try to focus Newt on the GOP criticisms.
The best thing about the Medicare bill is that it established Health Savings Accounts-- the first step in health care portability for most Americans. It is a far easier step for government to take over a job being done by employers, than to take over a job that Americans are handling themselves. Putting citizens more in charge of their own Health Care decisions is a KEY long-term shift.
Repubs should filibuster the process if Dims win in '06.
Great analysis cajungirl. Hadn't thought of it that way before but sure agree!
Are you saying HilaryCare doesn't know who the father is? Lord forgive me for that and all the pygmies in Africa.
