Alleged Rape Victim Admits Making Up Story Woman Charged With Filing False Report
NEWBERG, Ore. -- A woman who claimed that she was raped after parking her car outside a Newberg apartment complex now admits to making up the story.
The woman said she parked along South Everest Road when a man pushed her back in the car and raped her. She said she was visiting someone at the Canyon Ridge Apartments.
"It's very alarming. Most often when officers are investigating a sexual assault, the victim knows her attacker," Newberg Police Department spokeswoman Julie Carrasco told KOIN News 6 at the time.
But the woman now says the attack never happened. She is charged with filing a false police report.
Crystal Mangum or a close relative?

MEMO to Nancy Grace... Get your face out of the mirror and read up.
Apparently the Media still shields these women after they admit they broke the law and made false allegations.

NEWBERG - A 19-year-old woman told Newberg police Tuesday night that she had been raped in the 400 block of South Everest Street.
The woman said she was getting out of her vehicle about 10:45 when an unknown assailant forced her back into the car, assaulted her and fled on foot. She underwent outpatient treatment afterward at Providence Newberg Hospital.
She said her clean-shaven attacker was 20 to 25 years old, stood more than 6 feet tall and weighed 220 to 240 pounds. She said he had blonde hair pulled back into a pony tail, sported a green Nautica T-shirt with blue jeans, and had a large tattoo marking his left forearm.
"Stranger-to-stranger sexual assaults in this area are rare, but occasionally they do occur," said Deputy Chief Brian Casey. "It's important to be aware of your surroundings and park in well-lit areas whenever possible."
Anyone with potentially relevant information is asked to call detective Todd Baltzell at 1-503-537-1227.

In other words, she had qualms about undergoing a Rape exam.
Good find. Maybe you should send a copy of this to Grace, Guilfoyle and Murphy, and whomever else is out there lynching the LAX guys.
At least the story has a happy ending.

I think the penalties for this should be as severe as those for rape.

It's all the angle the DA/investigators take. If they seek out to disprove or prove a story.

Recently I read of a young girl who stayed out late and was afraid to go home so she didnt. Then made up a story of being abducted. i was watching tv tonite and they brought up the Duke victim and her past rape. Someone wanted to know if it would be able to be brought up in court. Doesnt look like it will be. If I were raped and by a boyfriend I surely wouldnt have waited years to mention it. No charges were ever filed. I also think this so called victim needs mental help if shes screamming whenever she sees a white male. Did she scream when she was raped before at all black males? If so then how was she a dancer/stripper? I would think she would be afraid of ALL men and wouldnt put herself in places where she could be raped again. I know I would avoid places where I might be in danger again. I surely wouldnt be taking my clothes off for money if I was scared of men. I guess that rape didnt count as it wasnt by white men.

The article says that the attacker was blond, and apparently the accuser is also Caucasion. If she was black, it definitely would have been mentioned in the story. Then JJ, Al, and the NBPP, would be on their way in the morning.

I think she has Large Mental Health Issues! One thing your post points out is the alleged Duke Rape was translated to WHITE MALES, but with the black males (first gang-rape & beating) she reacted much differently. I would think the first would be much more traumatic. She was 14, she said she was beaten and gang-raped for a "continuing time" and she was held against her will in different city from where she lived. GO FIGURE!

Yes it will get stranger by the day. Be ready for anything. With black panthers ivolved its ceased to be just a rape in my eyes. One thing I think is that these people dont have much in the brains dept. Where is the DNA proof? And whose DNA was in her? Most of all why would these Duke guys want to rape this girl? I am sure they can have their pick of hotties and she sure wasnt one that I could see. Kim sure isnt . I just dont think theyd want to rape either of these 2. I showed Kims pic to my 2 sons and they were like ewwwwww. Shes a dancer? My one son said Id have wanted my money back or Id have left. My other son just said he wouldnt have let them in the door. Thankfully neither are interested in these kinds of girls or parties.
I would be interested to know what the SANE nurse and the medical exam stated with respect to physical signs of rape.
The funny thing is there was more evidence in this case where the woman admitted making it up - than in the Duke case!!!
