Reports of shots fired at Santa Ana illegal alien riot [unconfirmed]

In another internet forum, a former FReeper is monitoring police scanner frequencies in Santa Ana, CA. He reported earlier that all riot control units were called to the area as a riot was beginning to erupt.
Minutes ago he reported that the radio traffic indicated that shots had been fired.
More info as it comes in. Does anyone live near Santa Ana, is there any confirmation on local TV or radio? Anyone have a police scanner or an online link?

Reporting another group of about 300 has appeared, hostile in nature, blocking traffic.The front end of a moving Humvee would make them a lot smarter or at least not blocking traffic anymore.

Thank goodness for the new media. In the old days, all we'd hear about is what you said. Now, the real news can spread via the internet and eventually, a TV station or two will have to pick it up or look foolish.
