me too. A new arrest. It's like the DA made a deal with Rush and then they re-arrested him.

I wonder if Limbaugh will use the Delay approach to his mug shot.
I know I would.

MSNBC has it as breaking news that he was arrested -- big headline on their web site; CNN doesn't have anything, neither does Drudge. FNC has not reported on any of it....

DU just went through another "President Gore!" "President Kerry!" "Rove indicted!" rollercoaster.
They were dancing on their keyboards about a Limbaugh arrest, only to find out they were jerked around by their buddies in the media, yet again.
Suckers.

The arrest is part of the settlement to get the record squared away and meet some conditions.

Sounds reasonable to me. What exactly is reasonable about Rush having to pay the State of Florida $30,000 to subsidize so prosecutors publicity seeking overreach? If the facts are as Rush has stated, and I have no reason to doubt that they are, the State should be reimbursing him.

Yeah, paying $30,000 for them to basically shove it up their own $sses is a bargain considering what it costs to keep Roy Black on retainer.

Rush's mugshot isn't up to Tom DeLay-mugshot standards but he hardly looks unhappy.
CLICK
MSNBC:
If Rush fails to abide by the terms of the deal during the 18-month period, his case will go to trial.

Read post #2
Rush was just charged TODAY, and apparently
arrested. A technical neccessity.
Bailed out.
He has to comply with the terms stated on post #2.
18 months later the charge will be dropped.
Quite simple if post #2 is read.
Grate Mug Shot! But it won't post! I am sure he will have it on his website soon...

His charge will be dropped, and he will have no record or conviction.Only if Rush abides by the deal.
That's a face saving thing for the prosecutor, as is paying court fees.
I believe you have that backwards.
