Update: CIA Officer Fired for Leaking Classified Info to Media
WASHINGTON A CIA officer has been relieved of his duty after being caught leaking classified information to the media.
CIA officials will not reveal the officer's name, assignment, or the information that was leaked. The firing is a highly unusual move, although there has been an ongoing investigation into leaks in the CIA.
One official called this a "damaging leak" that deals with operational information and said the fired officer "knowingly and willfully" leaked the information to the media and "was caught."
If that's the case we all need to take a couple of pages each and D/L the links and what on the links to our own HD's. We can organize and put them together later.

Remember Folks, Senator Rockefeller's letter that he wrote to himself reagrding his disdain over the NSA Terrorist Surveillance and he said he locked it in his safe and no one including his family knew about it?
Well, excerpts from it ended up in the New York Time reporters book about the NSA program. The problem is Rockefeller came out with the letter one week before the book was published. Those idiots could not get their timeline right either.

Take it for what it's worth, it's Raw Story:
RAW STORY
Published: Friday April 21, 2006
A CIA officer has been fired for leaking classified information to a Washington Post reporter.
Dana Priest won a Pulitzer Prize for reports revealing the existence of secret CIA prisons in Eastern Europe. The prisons are reportedly used for the interrogation of terrorism suspects.
The White House has repeatedly called that leak a threat to national security, often comparing it unfavorably to the "positive" leaks in connection to the outing of CIA operative Valerie Plame.
The agent fired reportedly placed numerous calls to Priest around the time of the prison leak, and failed a polygraph test when confronted. Criminal charges are reportedly possible.

I believe that PD has substantiated my comment from #295. People have disappeared for much, much less. McCarthy has sung, and will sing. There will be offensive damage control tactics by those that stand to lose the most. At this juncture "those people" happen to be wealthy, politically connected Dems.
Go for it!
Leaking operational information gets people killed. What could be so important to these folks that they would possibly sacrifice the lives of people who have committed theirs to the defense of this country?
I think Mo1 has said it best.
Their hatred for our President trumps everything.
Democrats cannot be trusted with national security.
Raw Story took their story down???
