Just breaking on Fox...
No details, but the agent was caught dead to rights leaking....
Update: CIA Officer Fired for Leaking Classified Info to Media
WASHINGTON A CIA officer has been relieved of his duty after being caught leaking classified information to the media.
CIA officials will not reveal the officer's name, assignment, or the information that was leaked. The firing is a highly unusual move, although there has been an ongoing investigation into leaks in the CIA.
One official called this a "damaging leak" that deals with operational information and said the fired officer "knowingly and willfully" leaked the information to the media and "was caught."
Getting caught leaking to the NYT would be almost better than sex..LOL
Waiting for spinning talking points?
Let's hope the firings have only just begun. That place needs to be cleaned out.
I'm sure they're "editing" (spinning) as we speak.
So what? The traitor will write a book and become a celebu-fink. He/she will be invited on Timmy "The-Muppet" Russert's show and get to schmooze with the OP-rah. The Today Show will be all over this. I can hear Katie or Matt asking the tough questions like "so how did you summon enough courage to do the right thing?" Aack!!
By when will it make the nyt bestseller list?
I remember it all so well, and miss it so!
I don't get it. Is this supposed to be funny? or are you upset you aren't getting 100% of the replies in your post?
If it was meant as humor...I guess I'm not in the right frame of mind or am missing the inside joke. But as it looks to me...it appears childish.
Did you forget your sarcasm tag?
I hope he starts naming names for a plea deal.[Rubbing hands with glee]Let the chips fall where they may,no matter what political party.A traitor is a traitor no matter what PC name is attached.
Check my #57 for Foxnews article
It is also on Drufge
i'm hoping it forgot the sarcasm tag, it's been here for a year
Take it for what it's worth, it's Raw Story:
RAW STORY
Published: Friday April 21, 2006
A CIA officer has been fired for leaking classified information to a Washington Post reporter.
Dana Priest won a Pulitzer Prize for reports revealing the existence of secret CIA prisons in Eastern Europe. The prisons are reportedly used for the interrogation of terrorism suspects.
The White House has repeatedly called that leak a threat to national security, often comparing it unfavorably to the "positive" leaks in connection to the outing of CIA operative Valerie Plame.
The agent fired reportedly placed numerous calls to Priest around the time of the prison leak, and failed a polygraph test when confronted. Criminal charges are reportedly possible.

CNN Confirms 12:21 - says it happened Yesterday - after failing polygraph
LOL -- almost.
W has let the press get completely out of control and has let the apparatchiks at the CIA and State go wild resulting in his dismal popularity ratings which do not help in fighting the WOT or keeping the GOP in power.
Its probably too little, too late, but better than nothing.
I suspect that certain events (which will lead to eye-popping revelations) are being set in motion NOW so that they can percolate right into the campaign season. Rove is well aware that it's all about timing. This is a beautiful thing.

Source is a lefty site so I'm not sure how accurate the info is.
Yep, where there is one rat there's usually a lot more.. The MSM has been spoon fed, especially NYSlimes and Wapo. Hope they get em all!
Oh, I'm sure the traitor will be honored all right. He'll probably get a room labeled with his own name in a federal building. And he'll be given free food and lodging for years. Possibly life! And he'll have plenty of time to practice whistling too. Handing out classified information can win you all kinds of honors.
