Odd thing, I remember thinking (and maybe I even said it a time or two) that OBL was somewhere on the sand at Bora Bora.
I'd never heard of Tora Bora...

I would think East Northeast too, but it's the USGS that has it listed as 6330 km (3930 miles) NNE of MOSCOW, Russia....

So if you started experiencing quakes in 1941, thats about the same year Dr. Frank held me way up in the air by my slippery ankles and started beating on me butt to make me bawl!!! See! I really do remember bein born!!! Great year to be born.!! I was beat on the posterior and started crying on November 9th that year!Remember well the Tehachapi Quake! Scared my curls straight!

Hey, I got a price quote on a full T1 line at under 100$ a month....downloads have been kinda slow....
To: Ernest_at_the_Beach
downloads slow,, with your whizbanger box? ;-)
Comcast has been fine tuning the network up here lately,, about time they boosted speeds
To: NormsRevenge
They were suppose to wire up our little village with something called Superwire, would give us Total communication on one wire, ...Cable TV, Internet, and Internet phone service,...but it has been delayed for some unknown reason...
Not sure what the Broadband speed is, hope it is even faster than Adelphia ,...which is fast....

"We'll see what else gets shaken loose over the next few days." That's a very good point. Japan may be one place to keep an eye on. Kyodo News reported a number of earthquakes during Friday (yesterday, Japan time).
Apr.21 09:59 M5.4 quake strikes Izu Peninsula, Tokyo
Apr.21 04:51 M5.6 quake strikes Izu Peninsula, Tokyo
Apr.21 03:38 M5.6 quake strikes Izu Peninsula, Tokyo

"According to the USGS, that earthquake was the most damaging in U.S. history."
To man made objects, perhaps? But would pale in comparison to the upheavals of the New Madrid earthquakes in 1811 and 1812.

"...posed no tsunami risk to the western United States and Canada, according to the West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center."
And the next report will be at 10:.... gurgle gargle, blurb.

Very interesting observation coming at the end of Pesach.
The next Israeli holiday is Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Day (Yom Hashoah) - Tuesday, April 25th, 2006.
Tokyo could be next for a major quake.
