I'm in Kabul and the bang was not massive--single rocket or arty/mortar round--most probably a 122mm rocket fired from the hills--our embassy sticks out as a target; big, centrally located, and surrounded by lights.
If it wasn't "massive" was it "huge"?
Thanks for all you're doing over there.
Thanks for the post and for helping keep us safe. God bless.
Thanks.
Are you in the military? Or doing some other work there?
Thanks pal... and God bless!
Thanks for the update and stay safe.
I hope you are far far away from the explosions. God bless you in Kabul.
Thanks for the info. Having someone there give us the true facts means alot. You're doing the hard work and we truly appreciate it. May God Bless you all.
Wow, our very own reporter in Kabul! And an accurate one, too. You'll never get a job with the MSM reporting like that, you know.
Seriously, thank you very much for your service to our country. You're a warrior and a hero. May your mission be successful and your return safe!
Hey Mark!,
Greetings from the USA - thanks for the local report. If you have an APO I'll send you a bag of the best jerkey they make - Cattaneo Bros. in San Luis Obispo. FReepmail only - security!
If you're a vegetarian - like 3 out of 5 in my family just let me know what you'd like that can "travel".
You can check me out with PatricaRuth who coordinates more Care packages to the Middle East than you can believe. Its a little late for Easter but contact her now and you'll have a 4th of July you will never forget.
Charlie :-)
Mark,
keep fighting the good fight!
I was in the Embassy three weeks ago and drove by the Television building a couple of times, if that's the building they hit, it was a pretty good shot as they are only a few hundred meters apart.
It'll be interesting if troops were able to get to the launch site and have a "few words" with the firing team.
And thanks for the first hand report.
(Easter candy! LOL!)
