McClellan Leaves White House Press Office AP - 16 minutes ago
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove is giving up his policy portfolio and press secretary Scott McClellan is resigning, continuing a shakeup in President Bush's administration that has already yielded a new chief of staff. A senior administration official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the president had not yet made the announcement, said Wednesday that Rove is giving up oversight of policy development to focus more on politics with the approach of the fall midterm elections.

And they are in charge, and have been for 40 years. And the right still managed to elect Ronnie and W. Not bad for no power.

You may be great guy and friend of the President, but you were the worse WH Spokesman in history.Aren't you forgetting Ron "This is the operative statement. The others are inoperative" Ziegler from Pres Nixon's administration. He makes Scott look good.

Don would be great, but he is unavailable. What about Ann Coulter? That would kick it up a notch!

Memories With Scott McClellan (Video)
By Greg Tinti on April 19, 2006 at 10:35 AM
White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan has resigned. It's been almost 3 years since McClellan took the job that requires dealing with some of the most belligerent members of the media and there have certainly been some memorable moments. Let's take a stroll down memory lane...

LOL, elections are not the problem, since the right is ALLOWED to campaign, run ads, give speeches without qualifiers from the MSM, have debates televised, get-out-the-vote, ect.
It is governing that is the problem, you cannot govern and run a 24/7 political campaign without the MSM, it is logistically, financially, physically impossible.
Republicans and Conservatives cannot govern without the support of their constituents, and that public is indoctrinated everyday in every way.
For just one example, why does the public complain about gas prices, but repeatedly fall for the environmentalists negative ads at election day, and elect the candidate who "protects" the environment?
I could go on, but it is plain to see that the public is weak and susceptible to liberal propaganda, it is ALL they see and hear.

I'd like to see auditions. Each candidate gets one week, then we all vote.

Joe Lockheart takes the prize for being the most despicable hack ever to be press secretary.

He's probably rooming with "Baghdad Jim" McDermott...our wonderful socialist Congressman that went to Iraq just
before the war to let Saddam know he wasn't voting for the war!

You are correct. The Plame affair is a prime example. It is hard for a non-american to understand why blacks would vote against the party that ended slavery but they do 9-1.
