The president met with Ghana's president John Kufour, and in Virginia, talked about the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit.
Condi Rice denounced Iran 's successful enrichment of uranium as unacceptable to the international community. Among others, she met with Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, and addressed the global travel and tourism summit in Washington.

"I will say plainly that five years from now, Conservatives will miss George W. Bush, and they will wonder aloud why they have such a hard time finding his like. Just like Reagan before him, George W. Bush understands that to do the right thing, to take on the mantle of real leadership, often requires a man to stand alone, deserted and betrayed all too often even by those who promised they would pass the test. I HAVE SEEN PETTY MEN AND I HAVE SEEN GREAT MEN. I STAND WITH THE GREAT MAN HERE, and will not be silent about my contempt for those whose confidence and enthusiasm is blown by the wind of the day."

Oh My, fox is giving a fanstastic report on how the media is reporting lies about Pres Bush. Good on Carl Cameron. Getting out that the reporting on the Plame leak and how Fitzgerald had to correct his report.. and that Bush ignored a report that the biological labs were not WMB and how the article in the WP was crap.
Thank goodness!
Now waiting for the other networks to follow suit......(waiting and waiting.....and waiting..........)

Some press outlet probably asked for them although the captions didn't state that -- it is very nice to see her as a pre-Secretary of State Extraordinaire!

Condi's mother was quite beautiful...and accomplished. This is the first time I've seen pictures of either of her parents. Her father is quite an imposing man too. Thanks for finding these.
(Has ANYone ever seen pics of Hillary's parents?)

(Has ANYone ever seen pics of Hillary's parents?) I remember seeing a photo of hill's father. He looked kind of scary. Big (overweight) guy.

I saw Condi on C-span last night during part of her testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations committee about the proposed treaty with India.
She was questioned by Senators Santorum, Allen, Boxer, Feingold and Kerry during the segment I saw.
The best questioner was Kerry, which was quite a surprise.
The most informed and articulate person in the room was Condi, which wasn't a surprise.

Gretchen, these are fabulous photos! I love the last one in post #9!!! And of course, the cute one with Elaine Chao. Years ago Joe Namath wrote a book called "I Can't Wait Until Tomorrow, Cause I Get Better Looking Every Day". The title certainly suits our President!!!! He looks delectable in all of these!!

Not I! I'm still waiting to see a picture of Clintoon's father, if anybody ever finds out for sure who he was.

Hi Gretchen,
Thank you for posting today's dose.
I've been gone for a while . . . we went to the mainland to visit my 91 year old dad. Ohio was a lot colder than Hawaii!
I missed you all. It's good to be back.
To: BoxerDawgs
Hi BD - welcome back (and welcome home to the warmer life). How was your dad?
