Immigration Rallies Live Thread Day 2
4-10-06 | Danae

Posted on 04/10/2006 8:24:37 AM PDT by Danae

Welcome back all concerned!

Just to clarify, this is a thread discussing both what is happening LIVE across the country as Illegal Immigrants protest their Illegality, and what to do about it. Let's discuss VIABLE options as to what to do about this issue. I have a sneaking suspicion that this "Protest" of American LAW is going to be pretty big. I predict that there is going to be a LOT of pandering to these 11 million or so criminals by our Politicians. I sincerely hope not. To any and all Politicos of all parties, WE the PEOPLE are watching you, and LISTENING to what you are going to say today. 289 million of us LEGAL citizens will see with pristine clarity just WHO in the Political arena is looking out for US, the people who VOTED you into Office in the first place. The biggest question on my mind and perhaps one or two others is: Are you going to protect and serve as you promised and swore to up-hold the Constitution or not? Are you going to up-hold out law or are you going to support the Illegal’s? 298 million to 11 million. You do the math. Let’s roll.

Dems will fall behind the Illegals because it's a NO-WIN situation for us!!

Come down HARD, and Democrats get 10 million new voters..

Come down soft, Repub base gets P'od, and DEMS STILL get 10 million new voters...

Do nothing, and the Repub base doesn't show up in November, and Dems don't need illegal voters to win.......

Meanwhile, Dems realize that without Illegal voters, and MASSIVE Voter Fraud, they have no hope of winning anything.....

Do the MATH, people!!

The Los Angeles Mayor is speaking saying the illegals broke "no rules"

I think John on KFI is going to have an embolism.

The rhetoric will CONTINUE to ratchet up, because Libs/Dems KNOW this is a No-WIN issue for us!!

That wasn't Murtha sitting next to Kennedy.

That was some white 'rat from Virginia who spoke after Kennedy did to support the illegals. He was a politician too.

Yes, plain as mud!

Congress wants to obfuscate and misdirect Americans so that they can write some more rules exactly like that example (there are over 5,000 related documents with ITIN and TIN), and create another oversight and approval committee. It is easy to call anybody that breaks one of those rules illegal. Problem is, it will make many more Americans criminals and require proving citizenship a daily routine. By dividing conservatives between the "deport them all" and "temporary guest worker authorization" groups, the Marxists know that they have a chance. Witness the outright glee of Kennedy today. Divided we will fall.

I think you are right, if Jim Moran is from VA that's who it was.

That may be the problem. If they enter illegally, how much do you want to bet that they have also voted illegally and our so-called "law makers" know this?

Probably not - not even legal Hispanics turn out at election time. I don't think the illegals would go vote on principle alone, there would have to be some kind of financial enticement.

I think the days of the illegals staying home on election day are over.

They will be bused from polling station to polling station and be given a name of a dead person, a person in a nursing home or of someone who has moved to a different district or out of state at each place. Five bucks will buy their vote.

Look how many turned out for the rallies. That many will turn out to vote too.

Maybe not this November, but in 2008 you can bet the farm on it.

You know what started me on this topic? Talking to two LEGAL immigrants at my job who are extremely enraged at this crap going on.

A LEGAL IMMIGRANT who I work with was also very much upset at what he was seeing in DC today. He said he and his immediate family waited a long time to get permission to come here, and they have followed and continue to follow all the rules. He's close to getting his citizenship, looking forward to his first vote as a citizen. He says we should seal the borders, build a wall is A-OK with him. Another suggestion he made is that we bring back the draft - but for border defense force, and that anyone coming into this country - whether it's for a "student" visa, a temporary visit (for attending a family wedding or similar) - must have a sponsor who pays a bond of (his suggestion) $100,000 to guarantee that the "visitor" will leave when his/her visa expires.

I also had a college classmate who came here from Vietnam, who had a good education and very much in demand technical skills. She was unable to get a green card because we already had our quota of Vietnamese. So every year she had to pay some fee to stay here and work.

Now, if only she wasn't such an honest person, she could have done what so many of the illegals are doing... stealing the Social Security numbers of unsuspecting Americans, etc.

The only silver lining is that they are concentrated in states that they can't make a difference in. California is in democratic hands with or with them and Texas is in Republican hands with or without them. Georiga is also safely in republican hands.

Florida is certainly at risk however as is Arizona.

The biggest risk are the house races in tight districts.

Don't take my word for it, read this: "CFR's Plan to Integrate the U.S., Mexico and Canada [Must Read]"

Try this article with a link to the White House website.

It reads like a Globalist's wet dream.

It's the Lincoln Journal Star. They took down that picture because it's embarrassing to their pro-illegal stance.

Fortunately, I saved a copy.

What do I think? I think the US needs to enforce its laws. Principally it needs to penalize employeers who employ illegals, who are the ones creating the 'attractive nuisance'. What we have at the moment is a situation where Tyson Foods etc. are subsidized by taxpayers, who pick up all the costs of the sub-market labor that Tyson employs. I'm not against immigration (I'm an immigrant myself) but the US needs to regulate immigration to further the interests of the US, not to help any illiterate peasant who can struggle across the southwestern border.
