We're outta here in late summer, so we won't have to fool with all this silliness. I can't see Mississippi doing anything like this, so we can buy our own policy with just the coverage we want and need.

Howabout that. Usually USA today editorials are retarded. The lead editorials anyway. Don't know which one this is.

Romney is trying to steal Hillary's thunder with the issue. At my expense.

(And I am still voting for him.)

Massachusetts' health care plan won't lead to universal care through private insurance. It just might, however, give the Bay State government-run single-payer health care.

That's the plan.

I don't know too much about this guy Romney, but, could he be using this to show the country that this type of plan WILL NOT WORK at his own political expense.

Talk about taking one for the team, Mass!

....the state will again come to the rescue of those it stranded by imposing single-payer health care, or Medicaid, for all.

"All" except the political class and their families who will have their own separate top-shelf health-care plans, you can bet on that. No way do the scumbag politicians wait in the same lines as the regular rabble.

(And I am still voting for him.)

I thought he was going to be my guy in 2008, but I'm having second thoughts after hearing about his health plan.

Why do you support him? Talk me back into the Romney camp.:)

Doctors in MA better start exploring moves to other states because their case loads are just about to go up while their income will take a nosedive. You watch, if this passes, there will be a mass exodus of physicians OUT of MA.

Also people who want prompt, top notch health care also better look into moving or else relocating in MA close to the border so they can easily get to a neighboring state and get the kid of medical care to which they have become accustomed.

Get out while the gettin' is good. My GF and I left in Feb. and have never looked back. So happy in NC. We sold the house on the North Shore and bought an incredible house down here.

There is an old country song something like, "Happiness is Texas in the Rear view Window." It should be amended to "Happiness is Sturbridge in the Rearview Window."

Which brings up the obvious question of at which point a Republican resembles a Democrat enough that you actually choose to vote for someone else?
