Thanks I'll listen to Dom tonite.
If you get a chance call Specters Philly office. Tel: 215-597-7200. They're SWAMPED with phone calls. The man that answered the phone knew what I was calling about before I even said it and most of the calls are AGAINST what Specter is trying to do and against amnesty.
Thanks for posting the number
Another number for my afternoon list. Thank you! : )
Question to all: Should one call the Senator of another state for whatever issue? is this proper? especially if calling them at their state's local office? (i.e. calling Sen Specter?). Beyond that, does the call "count" for anything? Do you think they care one way or another? TIA.
Interesting I wonder how many of the critter's it's happening to?
That is precisely what happened when I called Bob Lord Dole's office to voice my oppostion to the infamous "Crime Bill". Later on, Lord Dole himself said that the call volume was overwhelming, never seen anything like it before, and it was something like ten to one AGAINST the bill.
He voted FOR it, of course.
And that's when I gave up "calling, writing, begging, pleading."
If it's piss on me, it's piss on you.
I do MY pissing on election day, BTW.
