Please call and write to Congress and ask that they oppose the Stevens Amendment to the Coast Guard Reauthorization bill. The Stevens amendment attempts to block the Cape Wind project for offshore Nantucket and Marthas Vineyard, Massachusetts. The Conference Committee members are being asked to make a decision on the amendment TODAY. The amendment would allow the Governor veto power over wind farms but would not provide the same veto power over nuclear, coal, oil or other power generation projects. Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney (R), who has stated that he opposes the Cape Wind project, would have the ability to veto the Cape Wind project without having to cite any reason.

But, but, wind farms and trying to save on energy are policies meant for "the little people" not the Walter Cronkrites and Kennedys of our nation. Don't you get it????
Can they build them in designer colors?

The location of the Kennedy Compound has no bearing on the liberal opposition to this endeavor.
While we are at it.. perhaps we could locate the new 10,000 beds for immigration violators next door to the complex. You should, morally, be responsive and supportive to the policys you advocate for others.. IMHO. Show how much you care to have "guests" who never leave.. Kiss kiss..
Check out this short video -- coolest looking wind turbine you ever saw. No bird problems (as minimal as they are) either.

Wind energy is clean, there's no fuel cost, no hostile fuel supplier, no emissions, nominal O&M costs, technology/efficiency that's improving every year...
Perhaps you'd like to share some of your own "facts" that support your negative assertions about wind energy. I'd be more than happy to discuss this further.
And I have every intention of promoting existing & alternative sources of energy here on FR that will help America achieve energy independence.
