Gingrich just sad that no employer was taken to task last year for employing illegal aliens.

We have a big problem with enforcement.

These are Americans converting.
- - - -

Could be, but I said in my #498 http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1606994/posts?page=498#498
:
"I thought I read some recent statistic/story that Hispanic females, more than other groups, were turning to Islam."

And I gave you the source to support that story:

More Hispanic women coverting [sic] to Islam

"Failing to verify immigration status before employing them is not.'

Not true at all.

There's a form that the Feds require to be completed for every employee that establishes legal right to work.

Thanks for posting that.

It's funny how everyone always says that every word CAIR utters is a lie...until what they say suits our purposes.

I agree. But I don't make a claim for the accuracy - in fact, the story itself is meager on data and is anecodtal - I merely gave a source to Luis about Hispanic females converting.

I can guarantee you that no female in my family will convert to Islam.

Their mothers will lock them in a closet until they come to their senses.

"Gingrich just sad that no employer was taken to task last year for employing illegal aliens."

You want a fence?

Build a circular one, top it with barbed wire, and drop a few hundred executives whose companies hired illegal aliens inside.

Now THAT'S deterrent.

>>>
Who are you going to attract here?

Eurosocialists?
<<<

Chinese: smart, hardworking, a huge pool of highly educated, a country where we have major trade and investments. India: much the same as China and English speaking. New Europe: Christian post communist - they have felt the boot of statism and did not like it, will likely *not* bring socialism with them.

Compared to Mexico those three groups will likely bring higher skills, better education and probably can assimilate well. We can have immigration that is legal and boosts our human capital, we do not have to center our immigration policy on Mexico.

As a matter of fact I do know the immigration status of the people detained for the crimes I listed, I was told by BP and local LE after they were caught. I did not list any crimes committed toward me that no one had been caught doing.

I live very isolated and rural, I am sure if the border was really secure- the crime rate where I live would drop to near zero. It matters to me that they were illegal because they had no right to be here to begin with. Not here = not committing crime here.

You may have missed it, but someone on the thread asked if any illegal had committed a crime against someone on the thread. That was the reason I listed the crimes that have been committed against me and my immediate family by illegals. That was also the reason several others listed crimes they knew of by illegals.

India managed very easily to deport 11 million foreign nationals who entered their country illegally, and has done a much better job of securing their borders than the Bush Administration.

Yes indeed, India and Israel must be recognized as world leaders in establishing freedom. For instance they have sacrificed their finest military assets in projecting freedom and democracy to such far-flung places as.......EXACTLY nowhere. You may not be proud of American manifest destiny, yet please do not compare our great country to third world cesspools. The United States of America is much greater than any example that you may bring.
By the way, I still have not seen a posting of the federal law that enables prosecution of people for existing within the United States, its territories and possessions without proper documentation. Surely someone has a bookmark.

CAIR picked it up from the October 5, 2005 Miami Herald

I am not asking to know exactly where you reside. But please link the FBI or state police crime rates from 1945 to present, associated with immigration stats. This would be helpful in determining crime rates.

Have you seen the threads discussing the possibility of an increase in H1B visa issues?

When you bring higher-skilled immigrants into the nation, they will compete with our own higher skilled workers for jobs we DO want.

Just keep that in mind.

CAIR claims 40,000 Hispanic Muslims in the US. (Yes, I clicked on the link.) It is undisclosed how that number came to be. In any event, assuming that there are 40 million Hispanics (that is the census number estimate in 2003), and further assuming argendo that CAIR is telling the truth for once (and CAIR inflates the absolute number of Muslims in the US by a factor of 2 to 3), that equals one tenth of one percent. Heck, my little gang of atheists/near atheists can do better than that!

I would submit as a postulate that Hispanics constituting a fertile petri dish for an ensuing Islamization of the US is one of great non problems of our times. In fact, they might be an anti-Islamic antidote. In fact, Hispanics when they convert, and they do in very large numbers, tend to the tune of about 80% of the converts, to become Evangelical Protestants. Oh the horror! JMO.
