As a matter of fact I do know the immigration status of the people detained for the crimes I listed, I was told by BP and local LE after they were caught. I did not list any crimes committed toward me that no one had been caught doing.

I live very isolated and rural, I am sure if the border was really secure- the crime rate where I live would drop to near zero. It matters to me that they were illegal because they had no right to be here to begin with. Not here = not committing crime here.

You may have missed it, but someone on the thread asked if any illegal had committed a crime against someone on the thread. That was the reason I listed the crimes that have been committed against me and my immediate family by illegals. That was also the reason several others listed crimes they knew of by illegals.

I am not asking to know exactly where you reside. But please link the FBI or state police crime rates from 1945 to present, associated with immigration stats. This would be helpful in determining crime rates.

I am prepared to proceed slowly with this. The constitution of the State of Texas states: "The people shall be secure in their persons, houses, papers and possessions, from all unreasonable seizures or searches, and no warrant to search any place, or to seize any person or thing, shall issue without describing them as near as may be, nor without probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation." Of important note is the second word. It does not specify "citizen".

We even go a little further: No person shall ever be imprisoned for debt.
http://www.capitol.state.tx.us/txconst/sections/cn000100-001800.html
This is the real kicker: All free men, when they form a social compact, have equal rights, and no man, or set of men, is entitled to exclusive separate public emoluments, or privileges, but in consideration of public services.

And of course the starter: Texas is a free and independent State, subject only to the Constitution of the United States, and the maintenance of our free institutions and the perpetuity of the Union depend upon the preservation of the right of local self-government, unimpaired to all the States.

It is obvious that there are no provisions for state or federal government to detain people without oath or affirmation, much less a warrant. Please clarify the exact circumstances that create an illegal person.

That's it! You've solved the problem. There is no such thing as an illegal. We all need to write our senators and congressman and tell them there is no need to continue debating an immigration reform bill. There are no illegals. /sarc. off
