That McKinney lady is one nasty piece of work. Put er in the slammer for 5 years!

That look works for Macy Gray; McNinny just looks absurd. Is she supposed to turn herself in? Is she on the lam? Maybe we'll get lucky, and she'll run off to the Persian Gulf with one of her jihad supporters and buddies.

why is she still free? wonder if i could get away with hitting a cop. I think it is actually illegal to arrest or even charge a sitting member of the House or Senate when the House or Senate is in session, without a vote in the House or Senate to allow it.
To: uncitizen
I heard on Fox I think yesterday that no charges were planned to be filed, but apparently that changed. The officer was afraid there would be some kind of backlash, but there were two witnesses to the incident.
The last thing that needs to be done is to let people like McKinney get away with crimes just because there might be a backlash (riots, whatever).

Her's is a heavily democratic district. It just goes to show that liberals are a little short on standards.

Posted 3/31/2006 4:12 PM Updated 3/31/2006 4:49 PM WASHINGTON (AP) A lawyer for Rep. Cynthia McKinney, the Georgia congresswoman who had an altercation with a Capitol Police officer, says she was "just a victim of being in Congress while black." Her lawyer, James W. Myart Jr., said, "Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, like thousands of average Americans across this country, is, too, a victim of the excessive use of force by law enforcement officials because of how she looks and the color of her skin."

Too bad we can't protect her from that "victimhood" by making someone else take her place.

Too bad we can't protect her from that "victimhood" by making someone else take her place. No kidding.
I call a personal foul on her lawyer for pleading excessive victimhood in the press.
Penalty, no showing any of their faces within 50 miles of Washington D.C., forever.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Arrest and prosecution. She is not above the law. Anyone else would be already awaiting sentencing for what she did.

So, her lawyer is a POS too, what a surprise.

Democrat politicians don't have to be responsible for their actions.
Correct. Nancy Pelosi already to us it was "no big deal." /s

Correct. Nancy Pelosi already to us it was "no big deal." /sSomeone ought to slap Pelosi and then claim it was not a slap.. They should claim it was just an attempt to knock some sense into her head.
