Wonder if "tourist ship" could be the same as "cruise ship?"

A BIT MORE INFO FROM SKY NEWS:

A tourist ship carrying a number of Westerners is feared to have sunk off the coast of Bahrain in the Gulf.

A hospital source said that many people were missing, while at least one body has been recovered.

The vessel was believed to have taken out around 150 tourists for a short tour of the Gulf, the hospital source added.

"Many on board were rescued," a Bahraini official said.

Ambulances could be heard rushing to the port from which the vessel had set off.

The US Navy said it was sending rescue crews to the scene.

More follows...

No mention of what caused the sinking? Heavy weather? Rocks? Explosion? Bomb? Bush? Loose lips?

My first thought was a dive boat, but if they're saying 150+ onboard, it's probably a small cruise ship or a tour boat.

Only 150 people on board which means it means it was probably one of those ferry-like vessels. Probably didn't maintain it very well.

If they say it's not terrorist related but won't give the details of what caused the ship to sink then yes, another gift from islam (the death cult the politically correct call a religion). I'm in wait and see mode...

'Ship Accident' Reported Off Bahrain Coast

ASSOCIATED PRESS

CAIRO, Egypt (AP) - American divers and helicopters were headed Thursday to a "ship accident" in the Persian Gulf off Bahrain, the U.S. Navy said.

Cmdr. Jeff Breslau of the U.S. 5th fleet in Bahrain said he had no other details. But regional television stations reported scores of ambulances and police vehicles rushing to Bahrain's Muharraq port.

They did not identify the ship, but said there were casualties.

Al-Arabiya corespondent in Bahrain said the stricken vessel was likely to be a local ferry sailing around nearby Bahraini Gulf

They're usually poorly maintained and overloaded.
