"No mosques were entered or damaged during this operation."

Sounds like the makings of a standard tagline disclaimer.

Good job!

No mosques were entered or damaged during this operation.

Is this like, "No real animals were injured in the making of this movie?" But since mosques actually appear to be nothing but arms depots, I guess this is probably accurate, in any case.

This has to help the inflow of intel. I bet a lot of Iraqis are more willing to inform on the local rat den of insurgents if they know that Iraqis will be conducting the raid. It insulates them from the claim of being "collaborators" with the "invaders" (even though I bet most secretly like that the US is there...even if they don't express that when some CNN camera man is in their face and they know their neighbors will see it).

Don't try to tell this to the MSM. They have already decided the US military conducted this operation no matter what.

Iraqi special operations forces conducted a twilight raid today in the Adhamiyah neighborhood in northeast Baghdad to disrupt a terrorist cell responsible for attacks on Iraqi security and coalition forces and kidnapping Iraqi civilians in the local area. As elements of the 1st Iraqi Special Operations Forces Brigade entered their objective, they came under fire. In the ensuing exchange of fire, the Iraqi forces killed 16 insurgents. As they secured their objective, they detained 15 more individuals.
