Uh, yeah. If it was planned, would they have had President Bush sitting in a room reading a book to toddlers? Ummm, no. They would have put him in the place to show him in the absolute best light, to appear in charge, etc.

Why do you need to bring down the two most important buildings in the financial heart of the most important city? We got into WWII over ships, and the Span-Am war over one ship. Wouldn't the reaction have been exactly the same if it had been an obscure Federal building in a relatively unimportant midwestern city? Yes. Why would conspirators with the power to pull this off want to devastate our own financial system? It would seem likely that individuals with this power would actually have a stake in seeing that system succeed.

Why the Pentagon? Was bringing the two towers down NOT ENOUGH? Why attack your own Pentagon if you want to provoke a war? Seems unnecessary because the towers were definitely enough.

It don't make sense Charlie. Explain it.

Ah, the pentagon. Why? Because the, ahem, GREAT flying spaghetti monster wanted a sushi bar as well, but he changed his mind at the last moment. (BTW to the dimsums out there, I'm just pointing out that rebuking Charlie is like rebuking a pea-hen that was dropped a few times on it's head when it was a baby and then had a lobotomy -- in short, Chuckie's an idiot and I'd be extremely astonished if his IQ was more than 80
