Just had a FOX Station on. A televised show of a church service by a protestant pastor was condemning this bill in church.

He went on to say how he would follow Jesus's rules rather than the U.S. Government.

Hmmm... that seems a bit far fetched.

It's only a misdemeanor currently, and that's the entering part. Actually being here illegaly is only a civic crime (less than a misdemeanor).

If the illegals have to stay...maybe the draft should be reinstituted. I don't know if recruitment numbers are on schedule, but I would imagine not, especially with the military backlash on US campuses. Let's see how fast they run back to Mexico when faced with military service.

I wonder what percentage of male illegals have registered with selective service? Not registering when required (and illegals are required) is punishable with a $250,000 fine and 5 years in a Federal Can.
