Tell me about it... my daughter is disabled and 3 of her 12 meds aren't covered (she has to have them... kidneys); Over 300 a month... I go to the pharmacy, I see this woman with five stairstep babies with two bags of meds... Medicaid. Or at SSI with their kids... getting their 999-99-9999 SSN's or getting the kids on disability (600 a month), for non-existent speech problems... which then they come back to us at the Board of Ed. to sue for a private school... even though our Spanish speech evaluator documents the child is within limits in Spanish, yet doesn't speak English. Do you have to ask what the outcome is? Some will even boldly say "My friend came here because she told me I can get private school", I try to reason with them asking "Why would you put your child in special education because the school is private?" They don't get it, it's fraud and neglect. So the wheel goes round... if Social Security denies them... they come to a hearing at BOE to get a special school for them so they can take the Ed. Plan to SS to get money... it's amazing. I would figure they would be hiding out somewhere. I still want to know where they get 12 million from... how do they know? Has to be many more.

These statements that Americans won't harvest crops is crap. My Grandparents came out from the east coast after WWII and harvested apples in Washington state and then in Oak Glen,CA. My husband grew up in Garden Grove and worked in the strawberry and onion fields as a teenager in the 60's and he hitchhiked to and from his job after school! (Nevermind how bad he smelled after spreading fertilizer!)
I had friends when I grew up in Riverside who worked in the orange groves.
The real issue is the employers can get someone to work on the cheap so why should they pay an American more to do the work?
Of you want to clear out a room in LA, just say "INS" and watch over half the people run out of the place. Don't say it standing in a doorway.
What I find interesting is that legal immigrants aren't more upset by the illegals. The illegals come in and take away jobs, deplete state and city treasuries, and generally give the legal immigrants a bad name.

Of course we know. That's why any democratic president after JFK was elected.
Same in Arizona and apparently many other places too. We lost all but one trauma center in Southern Arizona (for over a million people!), many jobs require bilingual speakers, and I won't even start to discuss how the desert has been literally trashed by tons of needles, human waste, and other detritus. Illegal alien women wait in the parking lots of the emergency rooms so they can have their anchor babies.
Where are the American patriots during all of this? This topic is on so many people's minds, yet it's business as usual in DC: bending over backwards to aid the occupation.
