MY REVIEW OF SEPTEMBER DAY
By Jeff Head
FreeRepublic's own Larry Schweikart (Freeper LS), has really knocked one out of the park with this historical, fictional depiction of events leading up to 911, of the attack itself, and of the aftermath of the attack. To my knowledge it is the first historical, fiction novel dealing with the events...and Larry does it in a grand, and very direct and professional style in keeping with his other great literary works like, "A Patriot's History of the United States," and "America's Victories: Why the U.S. wins wars and will win the War on Terr".
Filled with intrigue and a characterization that represents the epitomy of the critical characters involved on both sides, Schweikart keeps the reader engaged and enthralled with action and suspense, despite the fact that the whole world is already well aware of the events. If you are interested in an exciting, riveting, and intriguing look at 911 and its aftermath, I highly recommend that you read this book.
Great job Larry! Keep them coming.

I told you this privately, but so the Freepers know, I spoke to the editors of "Patriot's History," and there now is a chance we may get that in paperback soon. Stay tuned!

That is wonderful news! PHUSA needs to be available to as many people as possible, particularly in schools, and this will make it eassier and more affordable for teachers to assign it as reading material.

Every bit as good, but, of course, this is a novel---however, as things keep developing in Iraq, my fiction my eventually prove to have been prophetic!

Rankings improbing on Amazon. Hopefully the word will get out regarding the impact and message of the book. It really takes you right back to 911 with many of the passages, and projects the feelings of patriotism and commitment associated with those who defend our liberties.
The more of that...the better!

...when the large publication houses turned him down, despite his best selling status. What!? These guys???
Yeah well, they're "media" too ;^)
Anyway, due to the improper "message" no doubt. Which means it will likely be a winner. Putting on my "get" list. Thanks for the ping.

Actually, Jeff, I'm afraid that like your "Dragon's Fury" series, my fictional developments---who was "really" behind 9/11---are looking more and more accurate all the time.

Well I seldom buy any book that isn't nonfiction, but since the author is the prolific and talented LS I will purchase a copy of
September Day.
By the way, Larry, any good progress on the book about the evolution of the media in America?

JLA---"Justice League of America?" One of my early favorite comics, as long as they kept that stupid Superman and Batman out of the story line---actually I spent an hour with Prof. Jim Kuypers of Va Tech, my co-author on this, and we have a deadline to get the material all analyzed by December. I also have discussed with Freeper "Grampa Dave" possibly contributing some of his expertise on newspaper stock prices/values, as he has done a great job or tracking their demise.
The truth is marching on!
