Re: Your attempt to shut down political free speech on the Internet
John McCain, you treasonous bastard, I challenge you or any of your traitorous cohorts to find even one thread, one post, one paragraph, one sentence or even one lousy word posted to this web site that is not fully protected by the First Amendment!
And I will extend that to one chapter, one group, one poster or any group of posters on this forum. Name one assembly, petition, letter, protest, meeting or rally convened, filed, submitted, attended or supported by members of this forum that is not 100% protected and guaranteed as free speech or free assembly by the First Amendment!
Your McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform legislation is a treasonous act. You and your cohorts are attempting to subvert the Constitution of the United States of America, the very same constitution that you swore an oath to defend, so help you God! That makes you a domestic enemy of that great document and a traitor to your country. Yes, and Benedict Arnold was a war hero before he turned traitor too.
How dare you even think that you are qualified to sit in the oval office! Ronald Reagan's office! President? Hah! You miserable excuse for a two-bit political hack, you're not even qualified to shine Ronald Reagan's boots. If you do run, I'm afraid you're gonna be at least one vote short. It'll be a cold day in hell before a traitor like you ever receives my vote. And that's a campaign promise you can take to the bank.
You can take your fascist campaign finance laws and the jackbooted FEC anti-free-speech enforcers you are empowering and put them where the sun don't shine. And if this post is in violation of your unconstitutional law, shove it too!
Paraphrased from In the Face of Evil: Reagan's War in Word and Deed:
The Beast never dies, it simply changes form. The Beast has known many forms: Bolshevism, communism, Nazism, fascism. The Beast has had many names: Lenin, Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler, Tojo, Mao, Pol Pot.
The Beast cannot co-exist with freedom. The very first freedom lost is the freedom of speech, then religion, knowledge and the arts. Anything that empowers the individual must be destroyed. The state must control all.
Power to the state.
Power as an end to itself.
Those who speak out against the Beast are labeled extremists, radicals, warmongers. Churchill, McCarthy, Reagan.
The Beast must be contained, appeased. We must have "Detente" at any cost. Direct confrontation of the Beast must be avoided.
Appease him and pray the wolf may pass our door.
Free speech must die.
The Beast never dies.
I agree with you that John McCain is not stable enough to trust with the presidency of this great country.
Bumping so I can check out all the comments later.
I don't like McCain and I said so before the 2000 elections. He's a double-crosser, backstabber, temperamental and irritable individual almost nutty... he's not presidential material in any way.
I could never understand why a "conservative" would put forth this abomination of CFR.
And the fact that he still sticks up for it instead of admitting a mistake is even worse.
He will NEVER get the nomination.
I believe his assault on the Christian Right during those primaries played a bigger role in his demise.
Huh?
Jim, you really have to learn to let it out, and not hold it in. Come on tell us how you really feel. :-)
John McCain a legend in his own mind.
Do you think Jim will reply to any of the people who posted to him?
Whew...
LOL, I hope one of them didn't land on you last night!!
Exactly
Third party/Ross Perot/(clones) morons were/are still a vote for democrats - 1992 gave us WTC-'93, WACO, Blackhawk Down/Mogadishu, Bosnia/"They'll be home by Christmas"/allied with Muslims, Monicagate/Peachy, Senator Hillary Clinton, Hillary 2008
Period
But McCain cannot and shall not be the Republican candidate in 2008
There is much about McCain that has not yet been revealed
CFR is only the start for McCain
Past time to start publishing a mini-print newsletter for FReepers and lurkers
FEC cannot set the low rate - or subscriptions - or size - or how often published - neither can Congress
--
Neither can a Klintoon judge
--
Think within the box
NewsMax has already got that covered
FEC and judges and Congress cannot stop NewsMax without taking down Time, Newsweek, etc.
All are in print - all are on the internet
and if he and his groupies can't take the heat of THAT black mark, then he should drop his name from the Rep Party nominees list. That at least will prove he has this country's best interests in mind.
Good post devolve.
Good post.
He's been playing both sides. McCain has aspirations to become President
And I have aspirations to spend a weekend with the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders and a large jar of chocolate syrup.
But isn't there a little thing called a "Presidential veto"?
Wow, great article smartass.
As *I* mentioned in a previous post, one of the four addressing this subject, don't think that Bush doesnt recieve excoriating criticism from me about NOT vetoing this. Damned stupid thing for him to do....and if it were the only thing stupid he has done in this second term, Id be a lot more inclined to tell the McCainiacs to smeg themselves...well, heck, I'll do that anyway...but my point is : I dont worship at the GOP altar saying Bush is Perfect. I live in Texas - one of the states affected by the war the Mexicans are perpetrating on us. I also am very upset that Bush doesnt seem to want to fulfill his push for Tax reform. Everything he does in this second term looks to unravel all his gains from the first. So be it. That doesnt mean Im ready to vote for an absolute traitorous psycho like McCain. There is no 'lesser of two evils' here...and I'll be damned if I agree that McCain is a "better" choice, not when he was obviously the one who brainstormed and PUSHED the CFR bill through...you seem to think I suffer a short memory - I will tell you : I have been a member of FR since 1998 - I had a different username from '98 to about 2000. I remember when McCain was running around screeching about CFR - and how eagerly his groupies took up his call...as if McCain could answer all their problems. If there is anyone suffering delusions that their leader is the be-all/end-all of American politics, its those who want McCain as president.
Some folks seem to think that the Constitution
and it's amendments were only suggestions.
I bet they look at the Ten Commandments in the
same way.
Hillary and her "good Samaritan/Jesus" PR trick - backing McCain on amnesty, etc.
Where did I put those sacred photos of Slick Willie & Hillary coming out of church in their "Peachy" days with him carrying a coffee table size special edition of the Bible.....
That will go nicely in an animated multi-frame .gif with the Monica & Bill graphic and a few others -
Maybe I can add a frame of Jesus - just for balance?
Now, THAT would make a mighty fine photo essay.
I hope you will do it.
