It is odd how the storms track. We are not that far from I-44 but the storms stay on the other side of the river and go in at the knee of the river in Moore time and time again. The weather people discount the old Indian legend that there was a buffalo wallow along the river during times of storms just west of Norman on the west side of the river. May be a legend but knock on wood storms with tornadoes on the ground stay across the river.

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
OZARK COUNTY IN MISSOURI.

* UNTIL 1230 AM CST.

* AT 1121 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO. THIS DANGEROUS
STORM WAS LOCATED 6 MILES NORTHEAST OF OMAHA...OR 8 MILES SOUTHEAST
OF BRANSON...AND MOVING EAST AT 55 MPH.

* THIS TORNADIC STORM WILL BE...
NEAR GAINESVILLE BY 1205 AM CST.

THE TOWNS OF LONG RUN...THEODOSIA...SUNDOWN...ISABELLA...WILLHOIT...
HARDENVILLE...ZANONI...TECUMSEH AND SYCAMORE ARE ALSO IN THE PATH OF
THIS TORNADIC STORM.

IF IN MOBILE HOMES OR VEHICLES...EVACUATE THEM AND GET INSIDE A
STURDY SHELTER. IF NO SHELTER IS AVAILABLE...LIE FLAT IN THE NEAREST
DITCH OR OTHER LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS.
