McCain and Hillary Rally Illegals

Senators John McCain (R.-Ariz.) and Hillary Clinton (D.-N.Y.), the current frontrunners for their parties’ 2008 presidential nominations, joined Senators Teddy Kennedy (D.-Mass.) and Charles Schumer (D.-N.Y,) in rallying a group of illegal aliens who came to Washington, D.C., on March 8 as part of a lobbying effort funded by a foreign government to push for amnesty for illegal aliens.

McCain and Clinton both effusively greeted the illegal-alien lobbyists as if they had come to champion some great moral and constitutional cause.

"It is so heartening to see you here,” said Clinton. “You are really here on behalf of what America means, America’s values, America’s hopes.”

“You are doing what democracy is supposed to be all about, petitioning the government to right a wrong,” said McCain.

The lobbyists, part of an effort organized by the Irish Lobby for Immigration Reform (ILIR), were not petitioning their own government, of course. They were petitioning our government, using Irish government money to do it.

The Irish government has launched an all-out effort for the McCain-Kennedy immigration bill because it would grant amnesty to illegal aliens in the U.S. by converting them into legal guest workers. Funding ILIR is part of Ireland’s pro-McCain-Kennedy campaign.

“The ILIR has been established at a particularly critical time in the U.S. as the legislative debate on this issue enters an important phase,” Irish Foreign Minister Dermot Ahern said in the January 23 release. “The ILIR is throwing its weight behind the McCain/Kennedy immigration reform bill.

“You are doing what democracy is supposed to be all about, petitioning the government to right a wrong,” said McCain.

What's the "wrong," John? The fact that we have immigration laws? The fact that we have borders at all?

I'll make a compromise (which of course will generate hate mail from some here).... IF we seal the borders.... And IF we institute a reasonal process where prospective immigrants cases are resolved in a reasonable time... I'll concede that amnesty deal, if for no other reason that to relieve the backlog. Right now, I don't see a single part of the Dept Homeland Security that works right now. INS is certainly as badly run as any part of DHS. I personally know of a Canadian who is married to a member of the US Air Force who can't get her case heard after 2 years. That for a CANADIAN who's got no criminal record, etc! If this simple case can't go thru in a reasonable time (3 months? 6 months) then what hope do others have? Heck, I'd probably swim the river too.....

So now America's values are that if you want something, rather than obtain it the legal way, you commit a crime to get it?

I cannot think of two more deserving "party" deadbeats to vent my Criminal Illegal Alien Vitriol on. The total illogical drivel coming from these two is beyond comprehension.

How can the American People refuse to acknowledge the criminal element they are so willing to give a free pass? The American society is under such pressure to accept this criminal element as normal and natural that it has caused their brainstems to rot off. These criminal aliens have violated the established laws of the Sovereign United States of America.

To give legal status for this traitorous act smacks of insanity at the least and criminal neglence at the worse. America is a Republic Constitutionally and legally on the books. Tampering with the Sovereignty of America is a criminal Act of Treason worthy of the Death Penalty. It rides just as high as debauching the currency which by the way is still valid under the provisions of the Currency Act of 1792 and once again that act of treason carries the Death Penalty.

These criminals are complicit with the destruction of our country by our deadbeat Congress who refuses to do its duty. As I have said before and will do it again here A Populist Uprising is warranted and long overdue!

What if it came down to McCain against some Dumbocrat in 2008? Should we hold our nose and vote for him or just stay home. Maybe it could depend on who is the VP candidate and who he would be running against.

Birds of a feather flock together.......

"Senators John McCain (R.-Ariz.) and Hillary Clinton (D.-N.Y.), the current frontrunners for their parties’ 2008 presidential nominations, joined Senators Teddy Kennedy (D.-Mass.) and Charles Schumer (D.-N.Y,) "

McCain, known by the company he keeps, doesn't get my vote.

Yes, the so called lesser of two evils. Hope some republicans wake up before they make a mistake and vote for this maniac.

If McCain wins the GOP nomination Free Republic would turn into a war zone like we've never seen it before. The Terri Shiavo, Harriet Miers, and UAE/ports "debates" would seem like love-fests by comparison.

I'll state it right now: I'd never vote for John McCain under any circumstances.
