Tony Snow is back and better than ever!  Tony's gguests and topics on today's Tony Snow Show include:

RIP, DWP Thanks to Chuck Schumer, Duncan Hunter, and a host of other Congressmen, Dubai Ports World says it will turn its U.S. operations over to some phantom American entity. So when the UAE tells us they don’t feel like helping out in the War on Terror, we’ll thank Congress. Tony has more

From the Senate U.S. Senator Sam Brownback will be speaking at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference this weekend. Before he does, he’ll talk to Tony about a host of issues - - including the killed ports deal and the South Dakota abortion legislation.

Sensible Immigration Reform There’s been a lot of grandstanding on both sides of the immigration debate. Someone who has a common sense solution approach to the issue is Newt Gingrich. He joins Tony.

And there's more!

Here's the deal: For those fans who would like to ask for a photo-- please send an email request to Tony at tonysnow@foxnews.com (please note in the subject line of the email "For Tony")  and provide your home mailing (not email) address. Tony will send you a real, actual, signed photo -- not stuff that people have to download. Please pass it on.

By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. Please feel free to add thread narrative about what is aired on the show as a group effort is helpful to get more of the content posted and is much appreciated by those reading the thread later. If you’d like on or off the Tony Snow Show ping list, please post a request. All requests happily honored.

"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

Amen to you! I had to leave the computer to cool off a bit. If I'd written what I thought at the break, I would have had to take out a loan for the cuss jar.

The President's Tin Ear
The Washington Times ^ | March 10, 2006 | Barry Casselma

Posted on 03/10/2006 5:08:46 AM PST by ReleaseTheHounds

Once again, President Bush's popularity has gone down, this time to near its previous bottom. His friends and supporters are dismayed, especially since the economic and other news is not that bad. It is certainly not as bad as it has been, or as it might be. The intensity and duration of this unpopularity is not unique. Harry Truman, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton aroused similar emotions. Only Nixon did not recover from this after his presidency (although his foreign policy skill has been vindicated). What did Presidents Truman, Reagan and Clinton have in common? They were good communicators, and they had an ear for what the American public thought and felt (although they often went against what political pundits told them was what Americans thought and felt). The worst thing an American politician can have is a tin ear.

How was Bush to know that these idiots would not honor the 45 day review THAT THEY INSISTED ON!

Let alone they would attach an ammendment to the troops money with NO oversight, NO information, and NO committee?

They are next in line for a spanking by Tony,if I am not mistaken.

Yeah. Radioproducer leaves and the entire Republican party goes to pot. Coincidence? I think not.

I REALLY think rp needs to see this. Come back, rp. Things are going to heck in a handbasket.

We need to hear MORE from the congressional Republicans like Mike Pence. They have GOT to take their "Contract with America -- Renewed" campaign back to the grass roots. I think Flyover Country is just sick and tired of RINO's and they're hurting elections like the campaign of Dick DeVos here in MI. Enough is enough!

My daughter wasn't feeling well this morning, so I thought I would visit. Now she is up moving around. If she feels better, I may have to leave and get back to work.

Much as I love President Bush, he and his administration have done a HORRIBLE job communicating the administration's position on this Dubi matetr and other issues these last few months. Just horrible.

Only thing conservatives have going for them right now is the liberals running the DNC still have no clue.

Well dang!

Bush thought they would honor the 45 day review THEY WANTED! So did I! I actually thought that by the end of the 45 day review we would all understand it and make a GOOD DECISION!

THEY asked for it... he GAVE IT to them.. then they slam the door anyway!

and it is BUSH who doesn't REACH ACROSS THE AISLE?

btw- I am ranting TO you not AT you! I LOVE YOU!

"He mistake was trusting Congress to do their job"

I don't know what happenned to the rest of my post!

Yes indeed it was a mistake to trust Congress. My anger at Congress has been building over the past few years, and right now it's red hot. And bashing the President over this is just too convenient.

Oh I just get so angry. Everywhere he turns Bush is attacked, and you know what-- he goes right back out there and shakes the hands of these baskstabbers!! The ones who need scolded are the backstabbing wimpy STUPID republicans who should be out there stating the facts - not their idiotic illinformed fears. THEY should be out front on this!!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOH!! I am steaming hot!!

yeah- I heard that...

but you can't bust Bush for not coming out within the first days to make his case- when he thought he had 45 days to do it.

they asked for it- then he agreed to it.. then they CHEATED!

THEY OUTRIGHT CHEATED!

It would be like the gas company giving you 45 days to pay your bill and then turning your gas off 10 days later!
