Hey...maybe we are just a hop, skip and jump from having "Sharia Law" in Detroit.
I also think Tyson was another company that had a problem with hiring illegals. And you are right, these companies just go along just fine, until there is enough uproar to hurt their bottom line.
Yep MD....I also saw in a recent article about these illegal protestors...that if deported they bragged that it would only take a few days at most, to be back into our country. They openly flaunt their abuse of our laws, and lack of enforcement. They are experts at how to work our system.

April 11, 2006: Cyber Criminals are developing weapons and tactics that are providing real-life examples of what Cyber War would be like. In the last few years, organized gangs have gotten into online crime in a big way, pushing aside the amateurs and part-timers who had dominated the scene for so long. The motivator is money, and the fact that 95 percent of online crimes never get punished. In the last year, the amount of software developed to steal money online has increased 500 percent. While spam is still a major source of this larcenous malware, most of it is now being spread via botnets of zombie computers. These are PCs that have been taken over, unbeknownst to their owners, by software secretly installed by hackers. The networks of zombie computers are the primary means to sending out spam, and breaking into weakly defended PCs. The botnets can also be used to launch DDOS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks that can shut down a site with a flood of garbage messages.
The online gangs are also going after those that try and track them down, or stop them from stealing. No, not the cops, but the companies and organizations that make anti-virus software, and study malware created by the hackers. The gangs will also make attacks on each other. Particularly popular is trying to hijack someone else's zombies, or entire botnets. These botnets can sometimes consist of thousands of compromised computers. One zombie PC can be worth several dollars a month in proceeds from various online crimes. Some botnets have over 100,000 PCs in them. We're talking serious money here. The botnets don't last forever. Users eventually find out their computer has been infected, or take it offline for other reasons (it breaks, or a new one is purchased).

Danish police say two terror suspects charged in Bosnia with planning attack in Europe
Police in Denmark said Wednesday that a Bosnian prosecutor has charged two suspects held in Sarajevo with planning a terror attack against a European country.
Danish police, who have cooperated with Bosnian investigators, said they had received a copy of the charges against Swedish citizen Mirsad Bektasevic and Turkish national Cesur Abdulkadir, who were arrested in Sarajevo in October.
According to the charges, the planned attack was aimed at forcing a European country to withdraw its forces from either Iraq or Afghanistan, police spokesman Anders Linnet told The Associated Press.
He said the country was not specified in the charges. Prosecutors in Sarajevo would not immediately confirm the charges.

Watch list delays homecoming for reservist returning from Iraq
A Marine reservist returning home after eight months in Iraq was told he couldn't board a plane to Minneapolis because his name appeared on a watch list as a possible terrorist.
Staff Sgt. Daniel Brown, who was in uniform and returning from the war Tuesday with 26 other Marine military police reservists, was delayed briefly in Los Angeles until the issue was cleared up.
The other reservists arrived at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport as scheduled, but instead of immediately meeting their families, they waited on a bus for Brown.
"We don't leave anybody behind," 1st Sgt. Drew Benson said. "We start together, and we finish together."

Prestwick Airport closed after 'security alert' on flight
A police operation was launched today after a Ryanair plane was diverted to Glasgow Prestwick Airport following a security alert.
The airport, which is around 30 miles from Glasgow, was closed.
It is understood that a Ryanair plane travelling from Paris to Dublin had to be diverted to Prestwick at around 2.20pm this afternoon.
A spokesman for the airport said: “There is an ongoing incident at Glasgow Prestwick Airport. Police and emergency services are in attendance.”

The airline, Ryanair, said that a note was passed to cabin crew saying a bomb was on board the aircraft and authorities said all the passengers had left the plane.

Flight Diversion to Glasgow Prestwick - FR25 Paris Beauvais to Dublin
Flight FR25 from Paris Beauvais to Dublin (today 12th April) was diverted to Glasgow Prestwick on the instruction of the UK Department for Transport, where it landed safely at 14:22. A note was passed to the cabin crew onboard claiming that there was a bomb onboard the aircraft. The Captain immediately reported this to the UK ATC and was instructed to divert to Glasgow Prestwick Airport.
All passengers together with Ryanair are co-operating fully with the police and local safety authorities. The aircraft will now be subject to a detailed search, following which we expect it will be cleared to travel onwards to Dublin.
Ryanair apologises sincerely for any inconvenience caused to these passengers, however the safety of our passengers and aircraft will always be our number one priority. Further updates will be posted on www.ryanair.com as they come to hand.

Officials Revise Toll in Terrorist Attack on Afghan School

FORWARD OPERATING BASE ASADABAD, Afghanistan, April 12, 2006 – Combined Forces Command Afghanistan officials now say seven children died and 34 more were injured - some critically -- when rockets fired by al Qaeda and Taliban extremists operating in the area slammed into the Salabagh Primary School yesterday.
Coalition medical staff members race to evacuate five Afghan children to Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan, for emergency treatment after a rocket hit their school April 11. An initial report shortly after the attack had six children killed and 14 wounded.
"This despicable act is further proof of the enemy's wanton disregard for innocent civilians," said Army Maj. Gen. Benjamin C. Freakley, commander of Combined Joint Task Force 76.
The children were attending class in an outdoor courtyard when at least one rocket exploded among them, officials said. A second rocket exploded nearby, narrowly missing the courtyard.
The Salabagh School enrolls elementary and middle school aged boys and girls. Three boys and four girls died during or shortly after the blast, officials said.
Immediately, coalition forces and Afghan community members forged together to move the injured children to the medical clinic at the nearby Asadabad Provincial Reconstruction Team camp. Dozens of coalition and Afghan medical personnel treated the injured both at the school and in the clinic.
Gov. Assadullah Wafa of Afghanistan's Kunar province, and Army Lt. Col. Pete Munster, commander of the Asadabad PRT, addressed the people of the province over Radio Kunar within hours of the attack. "We continue to assist Afghan national security forces in removing the enemy from this beautiful country and to assist in providing stability and security," Munster told the public.
Taliban extremists have been implicated or have claimed responsibility for damaging more than 40 schools, assassinating teachers and intimidating school-aged children in the past year.
"These extremists are killing innocent children, and with them, the future of Afghanistan," Freakley said. "However, this atrocity will only strengthen the resolve of coalition forces and the Afghan people to continue its pursuit of the terrorists and build a stronger, more independent Afghanistan."
Al Qaeda and Taliban extremists oppose the education of girls and unrestricted education of boys. This is the most violent attack on a school since coalition forces removed the Taliban regime from power in November 2001.
"I told the people of Kunar we're going to seek, find and destroy the enemy," Munster said after his address. "And we're going to help repair the damage done to this school and this city."
"I think this shows the callousness and the complete disregard for the people of Afghanistan by the enemy," added Marine Corps Lt. Col. Chip Bierman, commander of Task Force Lava. "The thoughts and prayers of the Marines and sailors of this unit are with the children and their families."
Five of the more seriously injured children were flown to Bagram Air Base for surgery and acute medical care at the U.S. hospital there.
"On behalf of the entire coalition team, my deepest condolences to the seven families who lost the lives of their children today, and I wish for a full and speedy recovery of those injured in this atrocity," said Freakley.

U.S., Iraqi Troops Find Weapons Caches; Insurgents Detained

WASHINGTON, April 11, 2006 – U.S. and Iraqi forces discovered multiple weapons caches and detained five suspected insurgents over the past week, U.S. military officials in Baghdad announced today.
Multinational Division Baghdad soldiers unearthed a significant weapons cache over a three-day period on an island on the Euphrates River.
Beginning April 5, soldiers from 1st Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, discovered a weapons that contained 82 mm rounds, 120 mm rounds, rocket-propelled grenade rounds and launcher, hand grenades, 55-gallon drums of TNT, 55-gallon sacks of nitrate, bundles of detonation chord, AK-47 rounds, 1,500 meters of command wire, a mortar sight, a receiver, a 107 mm rocket, 18 mm anti-aircraft rounds, 125 mm aerial bombs, anti-tank grenades, 60 mm mortars, 82 mm mortars, sticks of dynamite, mortar primers, hand grenades, cylindrical containers and boosters.
In a separate incident, soldiers from the Iraqi Emergency Services Unit combined efforts with Bastogne soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division to detain five suspected insurgents April 9 during a sequential cordon-and-search operation of four homes in Kirkuk.
Numerous weapons and cell phones, along with dozens of false identification cards, were uncovered. All five suspects were taken to a U.S. military compound for questioning.
In another combined effort, Iraqi soldiers from the 5th Strategic Infrastructure Brigade notified Bastogne soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, of a suspected weapons cache. After receiving the information, the Bastogne soldiers escorted an explosive ordnance disposal unit to the site to investigate and destroy the cache.
This cache included rocket-propelled grenades, 122 mm rounds, 73 mm projectiles, 60 mm mortars, 40 mm projectiles, 100 mm mortars, a 105 mm mortar, 82 mm rounds, smoke grenades, small-arms rounds and fuses.

Coalition Launches 'Operation Mountain Lion' in Afghanistan

WASHINGTON, April 12, 2006 – Coalition forces, in cooperation with the Afghan National Army, began "Operation Mountain Lion" yesterday to establish security, deter the re-emergence of terrorism, and enhance the sovereignty of Afghanistan, military officials reported today.
Afghan and coalition forces killed six insurgents today while conducting offensive operations in the Marawara district of Afghanistan's Kunar province.
Military officials in Afghanistan said Operation Mountain Lion is part of the coalition's ongoing series of offensives that aim to disrupt insurgent activities, deny them sanctuary and prevent their ability to restock.
"This operation is helping the government of Afghanistan set the security conditions so democratic processes can take root," said Air Force Maj. Gen. Allen Peck, deputy air component commander for Combined Forces Command Afghanistan. "Our job is to bring airpower to bear on the anti-Afghan forces and support the coalition troops on the ground."
Operations today began with predawn air-and-ground assaults in the Pech River Valley, an area notorious for terrorist activity, Combined Force Command Afghanistan officials said.
Soldiers from 3rd Brigade of the Afghan National Army's 203rd Corps are fighting alongside servicemembers from the coalition's Task Force Spartan, made up of soldiers from the 3rd Brigade Combat Team of the 10th Mountain Division and 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment Marines from Task Force Lava.
More than 2,500 Afghan National Army and coalition forces are involved in the operation.
"We're taking the fight to the terrorists in their own backyard," said Army Command Sgt. Maj. James Redmore of Task Force Spartan. "They gave their victims no sanctuary. They'll receive none from us."
Coalition leaders described the operation as a comprehensive effort to kill, incapacitate or capture terrorists operating in the region. It will continue as long as necessary, they said.
"Together, with our ANA brothers-in-arms, we're eliminating the enemy's remaining sanctuaries in Kunar province," added Army Col. John Nicholson, Task Force Spartan's commander.
U.S. Air Force F-15s, A-10s and B-52s are providing close-air support to troops on the ground engaged in rooting out insurgent sanctuaries and support networks. Royal Air Force GR-7s also are providing close-air support to coalition troops in contact with enemy forces. U.S. Air Force Global Hawk and Predator aircraft are providing intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, while KC-135 and KC-10 aircraft are providing refueling support.
"Our objective is to assist the coalition forces and Afghan national security forces in defeating the Taliban and al Qaeda," Peck said. "The coalition employs airpower every day to support Afghanistan's democratically elected government in establishing regional stability and long-term economic and political development."
Anti-terror efforts like this will extend the reach of the Afghan government, allowing legitimate governance to perform valuable work on behalf of the people in this region, Nicholson said. Stability and security will, in turn, permit nongovernmental aid and reconstruction organizations to work more efficiently.

Egypt frees 900 jihadists

ISN SECURITY WATCH (Wednesday, 12 April 2006: 9.50 CET) – Egypt has freed over 900 members of the radical Islamic Jamaa Islamiya group in recent days, according to the country's interior ministry.
The AFP news agency reports that the militants were released in groups over the course of the last ten days and that some had been in prison for over 20 years.
One of the leaders of the movement, Najeh Ibrahim, was among those emancipated, an interior ministry official confirmed.
Jamaa Islamiya joined with a second Islamic group, Al-Jihad, in the late 1970s and was responsible for the parade-ground assassination of President Hosni Mubarak's predecessor and political mentor Anwar Sadat in 1981.
Jamaa also launched a bloody wave of killings in the 1990s that included a November 1997 attack on tourists at Luxor that killed 58 people.
