My understanding is that all Israelie armed forces take thier oath to serve on Masada, which held out for a couple of years from a Roman legion, and then committed suicide rather than being taken as prisoners. They shout in Hebrew, "Never again" They will take whatever steps necessary as their defense minister said to protect the nation. These folks have been around for 6,000 years for a reason. The UN has only been around for 60. I know which one will survive long term.
