Theater majors? Hollywood will love them, probably do a movie about them and, if they'll only proclaim they are homosexuals, give them some sort of Academy Award.
The immediate suspicion is that they were leftists, possibly homosexual lovers and maybe influenced by the Goth youth culture. Unlike, say, Vermont, where there is little conservative cultural or religious influence, Alabama has a strong evangelical, and particularly Baptist, influence. The church burnings may have been their acting out of their hatred for that influence. Perhaps the ACLU has had the same thoughts, since they responded very quickly to the defense of the suspects.
Perhaps. The lady in the pic will need to get lawyered up. Likely these nitwits are going to claim that their "expression" is infringed....If they did these things, and anyone else knew about the crimes/filmed the crimes; the proscribed penalty should be harsh. For all involved.
