My guess is, when a non-smoker gets lung cancer, it is more likely from radon or asbestos exposure than second-hand smoke.

Of course Jesus has given you some sixth sense that allows you to know what is in a person's heart. Reeve was outspoken about his lack of belief.

Precisely. Now I know why so many liberals think Freepers are vile. Some Freepers are.

Now their, son who I believe is only 12, has to deal with both of his parents being dead.*************
It's very, very sad.

Doesn't mean they couldn't have become believers before they died.

Okay, it looks like the responses are about 50/50. (Half think I'm crazy, half think I'm merely stupid.) We'll call it a draw. Why do we have to choose?

At the risk of diverting this thread into theology, I do want to state that not all Christians believe as you do about who goes to Heaven or Hell.
My reading of Scripture indicates at least 3 paths to Heaven.
The Jews are justified by their keeping the Law they were given. At the last Judgment, the 12 Tribes of Isreal are judged by the 12 Apostles under the direction of Yeshua the Christ.
Believers who die in their belief in Christ do not wait until Judgment Day, but go directly from death to Heaven. They do not taste of death. Also there are those of the Tribulation who turned to God in the End and stand before the throne.
All others sleep in death until Judgment Day, until the Resurrection of the Dead. Then Christ separates the wheat from the chaff, and his criteria are stated. "When I was hungry, you fed me; When I was naked, you clothed me; when I was in prison you visited me." And "What you did to these the least of these my brethren, you did it also unto me."
So, those who did good works but did not believe in Christ during their lives are given a chance to accept Him at the Resurrection of the Dead.
This is the way I understand the Scripture. This is what the Holy Spirit has guided me to believe.
And my point is not that you are wrong, it is that you are not Christ, and only He will make the final calls.

10 minutes before his death he may have accpeted Jesus and asked for forgivness of his sins. The point is this - no human knows the heart of another person, that job, thankfully, is left to Jesus.
I'm not putting myself in his sandals to condem a person.

I don't know what her religious beliefs were. And it doesn't matter now.
Dana Reeve was what the Bible calls a virtuous woman.

I don't know about breast and prostate cancer, but its a well know fact the promiscuity is the main reason for cervical cancer. Luckily there's a vaccine

Your comments are spot on. However, I think people need to have some perspective. It is tragic that Christopher and Dana Reeve passed away at such a young age. We are all saddened by it, and our hearts go out to their young son who must endure much hardship.
But the facts of your post remain. Yet, it is also written that:
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. and,
For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
The point is, that while we do not know the Reeve's heart, they, like all others, must come to some personal conclusion about who is Jesus Christ.
I know this. Jesus immensely loves each and every human being. He surrendered His life for each of us. He does NOT wish that any should perish, but that all should come into repentance. He loves us. He cares for us. He wants to have a personal relationship with each of us. Each of us must therefore decide whether we want to have a personal relationship with Him.

And they've had far more success with adult stem cells.
I can tell you, right now, if I ever walk in their shoes, I wouldn't dare consider the evil and utilitarian use of fetal stem cells. There is more than one amswer to medical problems without resorting to immoral means to alleviate or cure them.
