The judges up for confirmation votes are all District Court nominations (no Circuit Court nominees), and I believe all are not contentious in the least.
Timothy C. Batten, Sr. - Northern District of Georgia
Thomas E. Johnson - Southern District of West Virginia
Aida M. Delgado-Colon - District of Puerto Rico
Six Senators have 5 minutes each, starting at 5 PM. Chambliss, Isakson (of Georgia), Byrd and Rockefeller of West Va., and The Senate Executive Calendar has a funny typo, "The Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary, Mr. Hatch" LOL. And the Ranking Member, Leahy. I don't know if we'll get Specter or Hatch.

So they have half an hour to gab and then they vote on these three? (Somebody warn Orrin that he might have to preside :)

We know they aren't contentious...because we have no calls for filibuster from IRELAND...where Kerry went to bash America is last weekend.

Specter's proposed revisions to the just passed version of the USA PATRIOT Act sure came out of the blue. He's aiming to have the law read much more like the originally-passed Senate version.
I'm not sure how he (and Senate leadership) plan to play this. I have a feeling it's a carrot for advancement of something else, e.g., asbestos bill.

I'm not sure how he (and Senate leadership) plan to play this.Maybe it will become clearer when the players start to show up. I find it quite confusing, however. They had the two bills, went to conference and the Senate did not get its bill in its pure form. Now Specter offers amendments to take it back in the direction of the Senate form. How will the members of the House react to this?

What is Lott up to? Roberts is not liking what's going on.

I think the bill is meant to operate in the future, and not affect the passage that just took place. Window dressing perhaps.
