Good Morning to all the Finest FRiends
A shiver & snowy day here in NE Ohio. I again am to be a wanderer in a bit & now have to do some much needed "house shoveling"
A simply lovely presentation Billie.. and yes, it does make one VERY COLD. Great Pledge & what an improvement over the email (which I too received).. thank you... I know you are busy & I for one appreciate your time & labor of love in sharing your creative & vast talent with the folks here.
I have never seen ice carvings of this quality/size but last year at Groundhog day in Punxsutaney, PA. there was a man who did both wood & ice carvings. The ice carvings were smaller & sold. (but HEAVY, as you can imagine). In the one pix & you a framed photo. This is of the carver & Bill Murray when they were shooting the movie Groundhog day. The carver had a walk on part & I am told the carvings are in the movie.. I need to revisit the film to check, as I have been meaning to do since there. I wanted to buy a wood carving but they were fairly pricey (at least the ones I wanted ... the carved benches & large statue types ) ~~like the dragon fly shown

Good morning, everyone.
This is so beautiful, Billie! I love the snow effect over the entire thing. I should have done that to my Alaska post. Wouldn't that have been pretty? But at the time I didn't even know it was possible to overlay an animated snow graphic without using one of those java script thingies (which John doesn't allow).
The ice sculptures are amazing. I once watched an ice artist carving a huge dolphin out of a block of ice. It was a beautiful thing to see, even though it was nothing as intricate as these in your post.
The sun is shining here today after rain most of yesterday. If things dry out a bit I am going to try to get more gardening done.

Oh my... that Cinderella carriage with the snow effect added is breathtakingly charming!
Makes for a clean sweep as my favorite of the ice sculpures here.

WOW! Billie.
Beautiful sculptures.
Your presentation has inspired me to create my own ice sculpture...
