Savage is a strange demented freak, but other than that I guess he's OK.
And there's about 300 commentators on radio, newspapers and the Internet talking about the destructiveness of Islam, and citing chapter and verse of the Koran, etc.

Savage is on ... what? drugs? The guy is probably the stupiest talk show host I've ever heard. He often gets creamed by screened callers. As Jed Clampett would say - just pitiful.

Savage may have an understanding of history and philosophy, but any PhD should. Amazing that many PhDs are not prepared to discuss anything of philosophy even though their degree is Doctor of Philosophy.

Savage is great. I listen to him twice a day, live on the internet first, and then later on the radio. He's quite informed, way ahead of the news/commentary curve, but can offend those with tender sensibilities, hence the vitriol.
