Frist needs to shut up.......
I guess the bush white house inherited the FBI files from the clintons......................
Either the deal will happen, or it won't.
If it does happen, it will be another step toward putting Hillary in the White House in 2008.
Frist can propose all sorts of delays but eventually the deal will need to be approved, or not.
64% of Americans are opposed to this deal, per Rasmussen. Not a winning issue for the GOP.
Jorge Al Bush will make sure it goes through.
Frist needs to understand that first amendment rights stop at the White House door. He doesn't have the right to express his views openly. What's wrong with him? You'd think he was the Senate majority leader or something. /s
Why should the deal be revetted? Why should these members of Congress be let off the hook, after opening their big, big mouths on this? I am looking forward to Schumer and his fellow travelers explaining day after day why Muslims should get this extraordinary treatment when doing business in the USA.
Frist just wants it to go away now that it's apparent that this issue will not smooth his way to the Whitehouse.
Yes, but what about other Muslim deals in the works? Some want all Muslim business stopped and anti-Muslim legislation introduced concerning ports, airports, train stations, water facilites, power plants etc. etc..
And they want Bush to micromanage each and every deal involving Muslims.
Good. Let's vet.... and let's look into the Carlyle Group
Perhaps Frist could explain why DPW's Bilkey says his father was a senator, yet there's never been a Senator Bilkey?

And yet, NO ONE is asking WHY can't US Companies make money in this business.....
Over-Taxation, over-Unionization, Over-Regulation, Inane Enviro rules, Unlimited Civil Liabilities, etc, etc, adn, have forced yet ANOTHER Industry out of American hands......
I think that's enough time but the admin will have to get a clue and quickly. First, they must convince that UAE is a serious ally against terror. Second, they will have to address the serious concerns about the deal. For example, what are the safeguards that will prevent terroists or sympathizers from infiltrating DP to our detriment? Third, they can and should make the argument that the deal is not just a potential negative but a real positive for security. DP has information about shipping through many ports. That information would be very valuable to us. Fourth, they must stop saying dumb things.
Probably the best way to get us out of this fight.
And the deal will probably still go through like it should.
I said this during the flap over "illegal" wiretapping, I said it over the Cheney shooting flap, and I'll say it again.
Mass propaganda dissemination is a political tool, and the left's tool is waaaaaaaaay better than ours.
We need to wage war on their media with media of our own, equal in size and scope to theirs. But instead of spending our efforts and dollars in doing just that, we expect that THEIR media will work in our favor by putting the correct facts out there, then whine and complain when it doesn't.
That's a crazy notion.
If politics is war, then the media is a gun...we keep showing up to the fight without a gun.
It's nice to see Freepers embracing Muslims again. Gets me all misty.
