Palestinian President Abu Mazen and the international community have put forward conditions for dealing with Hamas: 1) recognize Israel; 2) recognize existing agreements with Israel made by the Palestinian Liberation Organization; 3) renounce violence. Will you agree to these conditions? Look at the minimal things Hamas is asked to do in the intrest of peace. And it objects. Then look at the intricate detailed list of things Israel is demanded to do, before Hamas will agree to do anything. The Palestinian mind is an amazing thing to behold.

(If you don't want to be lumped in with those who commit violence in your name, take steps to end it.)

Sounds like the normal muslim way of dealing with those they think are infidels. I do not like what is happening with Israel right now. I looks like some of her leaders are trying to make peace with these scum by giving up a bit of land when the real game by the other side is their destruction.

Yeah, but according to Hamas Israel is an "occupying" power. In fact that's the take many in the Democratic Party also have.
Yet millions of American Jews who support Israel continue to vote Democratic. Go figure.

Israel took a dry arid land and made it into a paradise while the Arabs still live in a th century state of mind. I have the feeling that if the Israelis packed up and moved off the planet and gave all they have built to these barbaric idiots, that they still would demand more. Within a few decades the land would be back to it's former state of barren.
