Now that IS a whole lot easier than a MW check. . .
So thanks(!)) . . .have to say. . .hmmmmm; never used it! Never thought about it or at least not for long. . .and in a 'meaningful' way - so to speak; so used to referencing 'MW' when I think necessary and tabbed in my Favorites.
(now, since I'm at it. . .will check/recheck. . .'word wrap' ;^)
Worst Job In The World PING!
Hmmmm. . .can only think of asking family/friends to correct you. . .read 'good' books and when in doubt as to how/which word to use - pronouns vs adjectives i.e. he/his/him etc/et al. . . .sound/make a fuller sentence in your mind; sometimes that helps. . .and remember the difference between 'lie' and 'lay'.
It does not take precise knowledge of mechanics. . .but really, just a good ear. . .and 'educated ear'. . .to get you there.
OTOH. . .have noticed more and more frequently; as opposed to 'less', the wrong use of words when listening to the reporting of news etc. . .talk radio. . .
Another Liberal sin; was eliminating the 'diagramming' of sentences as a teaching tool for language.
That said. . .I make more than my share of mistakes as well. . .and I do love dictionaries ;^)
See thats the kind of stuff that I slept right though in English class, right along with diagramming sentences... :)
This was a good kill - This individual has been sought after for quite some time - Very actively sought after - Bigger hit then most would be aware of -
. . .do think a good American-style advertising campaign would help. . .
. . .show OBL, for instance. . .living the good life, in a palace in a peaceful valley in Pakistan or some other 'enviable' environs. . with some (seventy-two perhaps. . .) sweet, young things serving him. . .and ask the question. . .'WHY'. . .OBL is living his 'paradise on earth' whereas they are being recruited/told to 'die for it'.
A cartoon might do it. . .as well. ;^)
well he was a bomb maker always good to get rid of those. :)

Excellent. Keep killing them.
Something about this phrase that just tickles me.... Sounds like the sort of bafflegab you put on a resume to make your job as a dog-poop picker-upper sound important.
This is good news and everyone is acting like it was a blunder. Has this port stuff got you all wound up that much?
I don't care so much WHO got him. All I care is that there is one more bomb-making terrorist assuming room temperature.
MSM just plain sucks with such verbage IMO........doom on em all !
I hope there were no collateral civilian deaths; it's too soon to listen to another one of pat buchanan's rants about the U.S. killing innocent women and children.
Just last hour, I heard Bush saying we are on the offensive in Iraq. So I wonder: which is it?
You're both in luck. There are several HTML help threads on FR.
Here's one:

It's not very hard and the best part is you don't have to learn it all at once to begin using it; just begin using the tags as you get comfortable with them.
Thanks. Actually we've both downloaded the addon module for Firefox.
Very cool. Too bad that I may not use Firefox at the office. Corp standard imposes IE w/o exceptions. IOW, while I CAN download, install and run Firefox, the network spyware that keeps track of everyone's inventory of installed applications would throw a red flag to the watchers. Eventually, they'd be standing in my cubicle breathing down the back of my neck with very disquieting questions.
Huh. And I don't even work for the government.
LOL! Damn George Bush and his domestic spying!
