That opposition attempt to impeach her looked ridiculous.It is indeed. My country has a very corrupt tradition in politics... i dont know when that will end, but im confident enough that it will end.

To bad the Philippines didn't become a US state, or can it still become a US state ?
Yes, there is much corruption in the Philippines, and most westerners don't realize, even though you have a national government, you still have a clan or tribe type of society ruled by an elder of the community in each town .
But, The dictatorship of Marcos is what put the Philippines and it's people on the road of economic disaster.
