This would have been news about two years ago. I think the LMSM has already reported the fact that Bin Laden isn’t going to be taken alive.
It strikes me that it has been reported that in addition to a body guard of radical followers, Bin Laden is surrounded by mine fields and sleeps with an explosive belt. The belt is his final insurance that he will not be taken alive.
If he doesn’t want to be taken alive it is fine by me. What about saturation bombing with CBUs? Had an interesting modification during Vietnam called the “Hayes Dispensers” that bulk loaded CBUs into a BUFF.

We did not ask for this war but since we were attacked we need to be dedicated to victory. Victory includes the end of OBL be he alive or dead. Once the mission is accomplished we can return to "civility". Until then Remember 9-11!
