Regards to you! Good to hear from fellow Europeans to put the other side of the media output on Europe.

One good thing came out of all this - Turkey will find it harder to get into the EU. And they have invited Hamas over ---- !

""Freedom of expression and the independence of the press, as universal rights, cannot be undercut by any individual or group who feels offended by what is said or written."

no matter how much they scream and burn things they can never change that.

The European Parliament yesterday passed a strong resolution

Oh my. Another meaningless resolution that has no power at all.
As opposed to a weak resolution that has no power at all

I'm sure the jihadists are scared now.

Europarliament president Josep Borrell, a Spanish Socialist, two weeks ago criticized the publication of the cartoons, and claimed that if they had referred to Christianity there would have been similar reactions.

Yes, we Christians are always out burning and rioting over insults to our religion.

The most interesting fact in this article is that the president is a socialist.

Too bad for the European Union of Socialist States, the new, but powerless, USSR.

Liar !! and a typical misrepresentation common among most socialists

The EU is coming a little late to this party. I guess they have finally discovered that the politics if appeasement don't work against Islamofacists, so now they are starting to speak out.

Question is, is speaking out going to be the limit of what they do and will it have the effect of the UN's 14 resolutions against Iraq?

(Details, details)

"...and any possible crime can be taken to the justice system."

So, does that mean those folks out in the EU streets carrying signs that threaten violence against the EU can be brought up on charges of hate speech and incitement too?
