NEW YORK CITY - So far, the violent riots that have erupted throughout the Muslim world over the Mohammed cartoons have not been repeated here in the U.S.
But yesterday in New York City, one radical Islamic group was preaching a message that is anything but peaceful.
This is not Pakistan or Gaza. It is Manhattan's east side--just a short drive from ground zero. The group calls itself the Islamic Thinker's Society—its, for short. The purpose of the demonstration was to condemn the now infamous cartoons.
But there was another message as well: that Islam will one day dominate the world.
One ITS member said, “We are here to tell you that there is nothing you can do--and that your days are numbered...all of you who disbelieve: speak good, or Allah will silence you.”
The protest began in front of the Danish Consulate. ITS members stomped on Danish flags and warned Denmark that it would suffer "allah's wrath." The group then moved to the German Consulate, where they trampled on German and Israeli flags--and called non-Muslims "scum."
All of this took place under the watchful eye of the NYPD. Onlookers we spoke to were outraged.
“Some people have evolved and matured and become civilized human beings, but they obviously haven't. And unfortunately we're supporting them and protecting them, too,” One NYC resident said.
Members of the ITS declined to be interviewed for this story. But off-camera, their leader told cbn News that the group consists of mostly college students who live in New York City.
The Internet journal Worldnetdaily.com has reported that ITS is linked to al-Muhajiroun, a notorious British Islamist group that disbanded in 2004.
That group's former leader--Abu Hamza al-Masri--was convicted in a British court earlier this month of incitement to murder, among other offenses. ITS members deny any connection to al-Muhajiroun, but the black flag flown at ITS rallies--and its goal of a worldwide Islamic state--are identical to those of al-Muhajiroun.
Although this event lacked the violence that has been so prevalent in cartoon protests throughout the Muslim world, the message was eerily similar: America and Europe, your days are numbered.
Their students! there is no mention of US citizens
They're here to infiltrate the ranks, ultimately leading to the destruction of the United States.
I don't believe these guys are real smart, nor do I think lawyers are advising them. They feel invincible and they believe (correctly) that we are on the defensive, PC-wise and that we will tolerate just about anything because we are not allowed to say or do anything that would be interpreted as being critical of Islam. Just like all our politicians keep referring to Islam as a 'religion of peace' when it's the most intolerant murderous religion on the planet.
These people need to have a bunch of ex-Marines wade into them. And if it happens, the police badly need to make sure they are unable to identify any of OUR guys.
Some liquefied pork suet would start a riot rather than break one up.

our public schools give rooms for prayer for muslim students, christians are refused.
I suggest we have a "BLT DAY" in front of the Saudi Embassy to protest the lack of reciprocation from those who demand tolerance.
We get some Freepers who own catering trucks and carts, and sell BLT's to passers-by for a modest price, the proceeds to pay for the protest and to buy our troops some of the creature comforts they deserve, but can't get overseas. Of course, we'll need some big-ass fans to blow the aroma towards the embassy.
We make this operation mobile and hit every Middle-Eastern embassy in New York every week. We will merely be engaged in peaceful protest and commerce, no violence.
Any thoughts on what would be needed to organize this sort of thing?

I wish they would try to riot. I would love to see them get the snot beat out of them. We need to make an example out of them so the rest of the world will know what will happen to them if they mess with the US. I will NEVER bow to Allah because I'm not into devil worship but I would be happy to send them all to see him. They could have an orgy with their 72 virgins who all look like Helen Thomas. LOL

While I sympathize with your attitude, hanging without trial seems perhaps a bit rash.
But, in all seriousness, if I were to tell someone 'your days are numbered', I could very well be charged with making terroristic threats (or whatever terminology is used in the jurisdiction), tried, and convicted.
Time to pull a bunch of student visas and send them home.

You and my son, the only conservative at Juilliard (he is real popular when he opens his mouth) and maybe 30 others in the city....But come on, New York loses 3,000 in one day to islam and their response is to vote dem and support appeasement and treason.
They still have no clue what islam is even though they are number one on the next big hit list and there is no will to stand up to islam or fight the war on terror in lefty NY city they still think we are the problem.

I can say this:
If this nut tried to say this on one of my local street corners, Mr Remington or Mr Browning or similar would silence him. PC be damned. Rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6.
